Hi Waldirio, Great tutorial, is it possible to add red hat subscription without having satellite subscription, can you explain how if it possible , I have subscription to rhel servers and rhel datacenter but i was unable to get the manifest.zip or any other option to add the redhat subscription. i will be very glad for you advice.

Hello @cyro666, thank you! In the upstream version, yes, it should be necessary a satellite subscription, in order to work properly, like, you can create a manifest under console.redhat.com and add your subscriptions, satellite should not be a requirement for that. However, to sync properly on your upstream version, it should. I can double-check and see if there are different ways to achieve the same goal, using just the subscription. I'll keep you posted.

​​@@waldiriothank you for the quick respones🎉 So as i understand foreman-katello with none satellite bundeld subscription, i can only use foreman as and updates manager and repo for rocky, alma, ubuntu , debian base distros, but no rhel.

@@cyro666 Let me double-check and I'll give you a right answer ... at this moment, I'm confident that if, you have the manifest, everything should work fine for RHEL, about any other repo that is RPM based, ou should be good to go, set the repo, and sync them, with no issues at all. I'll keep you posted!

​@@waldirioi tried for hours to pull the manifest in several ways, after all those hours i read that if you don't have satellite bundle subscription you can't download the manifest, but i'm not sure it's true, so i'll wait for your check, thank you.

Another excellent video Waldirio. Can you also please create a detailed video on log file/s, logs capturing, which log file captures what. For example - what type of errors are captured by error.log file, or foreman_ssl_error.log file etc.? In short, everything that is there to know about log files. Thanks again.
