@@imtryinghere1 Wait, what? Shiiiid. If someone was breaking and entering or just assaulting you in any way/threatening your life/families’ in any way then aren’t they’d be pretty much toast in a 30+ more minutes of waiting?) Am assuming each and every such household would have at least one of those big guns. And from watching lots of these shows, they suggest that as well. But still. I can’t imagine their motivation to be that far from authorities & civilization. Let me just collectively say FIRST RESPONDERS. Because, to me, the thought of not being able to have either one of these guys very likely showing up in under 10, that would NEVER be comfortable to me; ever. Just imagine needing fire rescue or having a medical emergency such as a heart attack etc… Something like hospitals, granted, not everyone is relatively near one, but if first responders can at least get to me/my family in the under 10 it takes, I will always be very comfortable with that. At least they can start working on you…How people make decisions to live in SUCH rural areas, absolutely boggles my mind. Unless you’re an Amazonian or the Australian Aborigines or the like, then I don’t know how regular everyday civilized folk choose to live in such rural/remote places…(and don’t even get me started with Home Depot’s, Targets or Walmarts, FedEx etc..)
