There's an interesting follow-up to this story. Years after the killer was arrested (and died in jail by suicide), a woman was watching this episode of Forensic Files . . . and suddenly realized this was the house she was currently living in! She approached the landlady (the killer's mother), who then refused to let the poor woman out of the lease until the local government stepped in.

These days, your home printer leaves hidden micro dots on every page you print that uniquely identifies your printer like a finger print (machine id code). From there they'll find out which store was shipped that printer, then they'll look up store receipts and/or videos to see who bought it. Two 15 minute back-to-back checks were skipped, which means there was a 45 minute window of opportunity! So, hey, how about a show on the investigation as to how the prison guards let the killer hang himself and escape justice, thereby bringing an end to the investigation and learning where other victims were located? Or did that just "slip through their fingers" too?! Did anyone find out how that was allowed to happen? Was anyone punished or fired? It is infuriating to think of everything that was lost, especially to the family members and friends of the victims.

@197619993 жыл бұрын
@@cherylangel1714 I assume you're comment was a joke but just in case it wasn't I'll try to clarify things for you. If two back to back 15 minute checks were missed that leaves a 45 minute window. For example, if the 9:00 check was done that leaves 15 minutes until the next check at 9:15. If the 9:15 check was missed (1st missed check) another 15 minutes will pass until the next check at 9:30 (2nd missed check). So far 30 minutes have passed but the next check is not until 9:45 so another 15 minutes will pass giving a total of 45 minutes. 9:00 (completed) through 9:15 = 15 minutes of opportunity 9:15 (missed) through 9:30 = another 15 minutes (30 minutes total so far) 9:30 (2nd missed) through 9:45 = another 15 minutes (45 minutes so far) 9:45 (completed) Two checks were missed so there 45 minutes between actual visual checks.

This dude isn't just a cold and I mean cold blooded killer ,but he was very, very ignorant to think they wouldn't catch up with him, using a computer to taunt the authorities.

He did not kill himself. No way. What this video doesnt say is that he was found hung with a pillow case over his head with a sock stuffed in his mouth. AND his hands were tied behind his back. Nope sorry. He didnt kill himself. The guard did or they purposefully left to let someone kill him.
@indycastletonjonahinarizon83803 жыл бұрын
Why would the guards do it? They wanted him alive to find the other victims....what a moronic comment

Those sloppy, lazy, good for nothing guards should be fired on the spot, their pension and other entitlements withdrawn and they should be tried and jailed for serious obstruction of justice.

Yes, The Killers mother rented out the house and didn't tell the tenant, she even had the nerve to give the woman and her little girl some of the furniture as a gift. When the woman found out what happened through a friend she had to fight to get out of her lease. The woman also had a two-year-old daughter.
