I’m from the UK and was fortunate enough to attend a lecture/talk with Dr Richard Shepherd at the Lighthouse in Poole..Dorset UK a few years ago…it was an extremely interesting evening and I feel privileged to have attended it….he really is not only an excellent pathologist but also a wonderful speaker…👏👏👏👏👍

I find Richard Shepherd to be extremely funny. I didn't think dealing with death could be so hilarious. Thank you for making me giggled

What an excellent interview! Just shared this with my 16-year old son who wants to be a forensic pathologist.

44:25 I actually saw that happen to a relative of mine once. Her partner was drunk and thought it might be amusing to wrap several layers of masking tape around my cousins head. I think I was in shock because it took me a few seconds to realise that what he was doing was trying to kill her. So I knocked him out with a pint glass and got a pair of scissors to cut the masking tape off. Her face was grey and she was gasping for air by the time I got the tape off. She would have died if I had not intervened. Just jogged my memory a bit there. I met Richard about 4 years. Nice bloke.

Great interview as always with a great communicator and, of course, a very humble human being and excellent forensic pathologist. So down to earth. A joy to watch. Thank you for uploading 🙏🇩🇰

Why did you write doctor's name as Dick Shepherd? Wtf, his name is Richard Shepherd, such a blatant and disrespectful mistake

My guests write their own names.

@@3Dforensics I stand corrected, didn't know that Dick is short for Rhichard I thought it would be Rick or Rich, mind blown
