Hello, I’ve been watching these summary topic videos for a while now, and have been using them for note making. Today I got my ucas exam results back for the first paper ( social, memory, and attachment). I managed to get 98 percent, way better than anyone else, and when I say in class there are people far better than me I am not lying, and it is all testament to these great videos you make. I genuinely would have been lucky to get an A by just using the textbook! I was wondering if you were planning on uploading any more summary videos on paper 2 and 3, as Idk what I’ll do without them! Also my teacher seems to think grade boundaries go up in decades with 90 percent being an A*, however on the aqa website it is nowhere near as high as this. I am just conscious because my teacher told me I did quite a lot worse on paper 2, so was wondering as tho whether you would be able to confirm this right of wrong. Thank you !

Hey, James what a fantastically nice message, cheers mate! Really well done with the grade that's fantastic work! But I am sure your more capable than you give yourself credit for, and ultimately you did the work, so you deserve the result you got! Yeah, I'm actually working on remakes of the Aggression, Relationships and creating the Gender units this month. They will all have a summary video. I will get round to making one for schizophrenia before the end of summer. I am also hoping to have the research methods redone by sept. Humm interesting about the grades, I'm not going to second guess your teachers position as we all have our reasons for placing the grade points where we do. I tend not to use the actual exam grade boundaries in internal exams myself, because there are a range of factors to the real exam that classroom exams don’t have. (e.g., students are often not tested on anything across 4 topics in RM in class tests, real exams are more high-pressure ext, External examiners often tend to mark harshly.) But if you’re interested I have a video here kzbin.info/www/bejne/n6OcZGWMasR5ec0&t in it I explain how exam results become grades, but that's in a usual year, whatever that means now eh? 2019 exam boundaries are here but I guess you have already found them, filestore.aqa.org.uk/over/stat_pdf/AQA-A-LEVEL-RL-GDE-BDY-JUN-2019.PDF But hey, well done and good luck in Y2!

@@PsychBoost Thank you very much! That’s music to my ears about some new summary videos, I just hope that atleast a few of them are part of the options my class will choose. Speaking of options how many do you actually choose of the 10 or so topics on paper 2/3. Yeah that seems realistic tbf, but I think my teacher is being too extreme perhaps 😅😂

Hey, Is this all that I need to know for my exams? I have actually been a bit behind on psychology so hence I'm aiming for a C.....maybe if I'm lucky i'll get a B but i don't have the time to make detailed notes so I was wondering if i could answer a 16 Mark question using these notes from these short revision videos.... :)

12:57 u see the last eval point for cognitive explanations, would u say that it is alpha bias or beta bias?
@charliewelch9489 Жыл бұрын
Beta bias i assume
@MawganRogerson Жыл бұрын
Beta bias if it’s Kohlberg ignoring women and then attempting to generalise the results of men to women. However he then tested women and found that they were less morally developed, which is likely an example of alpha bias due to sexism. i.e. drawing a sexist and exaggerated conclusion from a flawed and biased methodology

this is so helpful, thank you so much for this video!!! I was wondering if its possible for a summary video like this for the cognition and development topic? This is a life saving channel. thanks again!!!!
