I'm just trying to figure out what the fluids are, if I was to recreate this myself. What's a link or a voc free liquid? I understand solvents, carriers etc but these are confusing. Just thinking a solvent/s, oil/s and the waxes at a good ratio. I followed your other videos but I'm just confused with these Auto Glanz names.

just a technical point, the weighing machine (scales are on a fish!) has a resolution of 10mg, but isn't accurate to 10mg, you'd be spending north of £200 easily for that, but it'll be accurate enough for measuring ingredients 👍 love the content, your in depth knowledge gives us a big leap into the world of the manufacturer as well as the consumer.

thats right accurate to 0.01 of a g not 1g.. not bad for a few quid.

Forensic Detailing Channel barely understand how they can even do it! tested a 5kg by 10mg machine for a customer today £450 plus Vat!

How much waxes and solvents would you need if your just making 50ml of the wax

What about melting the waxes wit a pan with water on a gas hob

you can melt wax like that but you do not want to be putting the solvents near it... so I would avoid doing it.. buy the little melter machine I recomend in the autoglanz homebrew hakman buddy its only 14 quid.

I wanted to do an alternative formula.. the one provided by autoglanz has been purposefully made to create a wax that works.. without guidelines the thing most likely to go wrong first time is you will make a hockey puck or at best a candle... so the first provided formula gives you perhaps carrier and solvent heavier wax to avoid people people getting a hockey puck... but as the product matures further formulas will be provided to give you more guidelines etc.. but ultimately it is down to you and generally speaking you have to do tons and tons of brews to develope your blends.. (and before you get to that stage you need to observe a lot and learn the basics and develope methods to test performance) I might do a video on another blend

Any plan to discuss Polymers ? i bought this kit but they won't ship the Durability Polymer to my country so i've got all the rest of the kit but no polymer . as i'm just starting out it's not an issue but i'd like to know what i'm missing

wattycool42 a simple led torch works very well. got mine in a kit for a xmas present, think it was an AA torch set and the little led one is awesome for swirl spotting.

They would have a good market in the US but they need a distributor like Detailers Image or Autogeek.

you can always speak to joe at autoglanz.. I cant remember if they do worldwide shipping.. its difficult to ship from the UK to the US.. so might not be available but worth asking.

Derek Munro if the uk and usa get a free trade deal (something trump has said he wants to happen) I'd imagine you'll be able to get it without mental prices..no idea if the shipping would cost less but import duty wouldn't be an issue. Plenty of products I've got my eye on from the us but import duty puts me off
