Foreshadowing: A Zero Escape Compilation

Uchikoshi has a habit of adding moments that make you go "...oh" on a replay. These are just some of them.

Some stuff that didn't make it into the video: - In the Archives escape room in VLR, Clover finds Sigma bending over on the ground. Sigma claims he's lost a contact, and Clover says "you don't wear any!" - In the very first escape room in VLR, there's a poster with a message at the bottom saying life would be easier if we could be born at 80 and slowly reach 18, referencing the actual timeline of events. - In the Shoot Mira bad ending in ZTD, Mira kills Sean with her gun. You can hear the sound of a wheelchair collapsing. Additionally, the announcer says that Q is dead, but then we see Sean saying "M-Mira..." before collapsing. - The "dec" in "decision game" referenced the number 10 (in contrast to the nonary games). - The X door represents the roman numeral for 10. - Q's picture in the status screen doesn't have a face. - If Q-team presses the yellow button, there's a scene where Gab is shown tied to a pole. The team is unsuccessful at untying him, and when they leave, Sean stays behind to keep him company. If you look at the shadows, you will realise that Delta is also tied to the pole, and that Sean stayed behind for him, not Gab. - In the Biolab in ZTD, the decision centres around the Fanatic Bio R virus that has a 100% kill rate compared to Radical-6 which has a 75% kill rate. The "correct" decision is to use Radical-6 to give the best possible chance of survival. This represents Delta's plan to use Radical-6 to wipe out 6 billion people to prevent the religious fanatic from killing all 8 billion. "Fanatic Bio R" is also an anagram of "fabrication".

Also a very cool foreshadowing, art of the ZTD (first search when you google up "zero escape zero time dilemma art"). Don't search for details, just characters locations. Also the first, second and the last foreshadowings... oh my god...

Also in VLR when Tenmyouji talks about the Mars experiment, he says there were "9 men and women", but no one in ZTD recognizes Sean. Therefore Sean is not one of the 9 and that only covers 8 of the 9 men and women. Where is the 9th...? It's Delta.

Umm, pretty sure Diana is the one who gave birth to the twins, not Sigma... (And yeah, it's one of those things that not enough people are checking the Status screen during playthroughs...)

there’s one part in 999 where santa and akane are onscreen and santa says something like “the person who you trust most could turn out to be the one who stabs you in the back” and while that’s not literally true (ace is the one who does that in the bad endings) i still think about it a lot

Eric’s reactions to various answers (for both Who Killed Mira and Who is Zero) are hilarious and great attention to detail. Looking back, the Sean/Delta foreshadowing is one of the best parts of ZTD that you only truly appreciate on a replay

I just love the 999's safe ending note. "Truth had gone [...] Ah, now truth is asleep in the hand of the sinister hand." That was found when Clover (knowing the truth (9 year ago's nonary game)) was dead, Snake (knowing the truth, was asleep), Akane (knowing the truth, was in schrodinger state, in timeline to die), and Ace and Santa not willing to say anything

Also there is the scene in ZTD, in Door to Truth Fragment. When Sigma and Diana opened the pod containing Eric and he woke up, he is listed alive in the status screen, meanwhile when Sean got out, in the status screen Q is listed as ???, which is clever I swear.

Not really foreshadowing but more like a good detail I always think about is Snake reacting to Junpei saying "Huh, light." if you click on a lamp. Also, when Clover calls Tenmyouji old in VLR, he tells her he's as spry as he was when he was 20, which is roughly how old he was when he first met Clover back in 999.
