This is my cat's ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE video -- no birdies taking up space meant for rodents, and the camera is exactly the right distance away.... I had to move the TV to the floor so he doesn't break stuff in his efforts to destroy the nasties...He loves it when the chippies turn their backs to the camera :D

I started feeding squirrels in my yard as the areas was losing a lot of trees so the squirrels lost a large food source. It has turned into this video project and it has been a great experience!

I started feeding the birds (plus squirrels chipmunks ..whoever’s hungry!) since 2020 and I love it. I now have a chipmunk who comes running to my door when he sees me come outside. He’s expecting me to sit out quietly and feed him nuts one at a time. First time I go out I’m just leaving out some bird seed before coffee, but he still comes looking for me. I have a couple squirrels who are pretty tame around me too. But that chipmunk ❤️❤️ I feel like he adopted ME!

I’ve been told peanuts in the shell are ok but squirrels need harder nuts like walnuts to keep their teeth sharpened or else they get long and pointed and they can’t eat/chew..

What would a forest be without all these woodland creatures , truly enjoyable . I always try to keep peanuts on hand for the squirrels , but sometimes the blue jays seem to have that unique smell of peanuts . Thanks for another great upload !! 🐿 🐤🐦 🐿 !
