forest dawn // Digitakt & Eurorack Modular Ambient: Rings, Plaits, Beads, Surface, Bloom, FX-Aid

Ambient bliss with my Eurorack and the Elektron Digitakt.
Patch Note(s):
Rings and Surface are sequenced by Bloom. I recorded a part of Rings' sequence into Beads' buffer and froze it, pitched it one octave up and set the size to reverse. This is creating a little pad. Plaits is in the orange chord mode providing an additional pad. The "left" and "right" (Out and Aux) are individually being sent to an VCA each (2hp VCA) . With 2 sine LFO's from Pamela's New Workout with one being phase shifted by 50% Im gradually fading the volumes of each channel to create an panning effect. Since the 2 LFO's aren't the same division they overlap sometimes so both the left and right channels are at max volume. Both voices' (Rings and Surface) triggers from Bloom are first going through a Bernoulli Gate on Ornament and Crime (like Mi Branches). So on each trigger theres a 50% chance that the trigger will get passed through to the voices. Pamela's New Workout is clocked by the Digitakt over a midi to clock and run adapter by ALM. Øchd is providing even more modulation to various parameters of the voices and to the Dry/Wet of Beads and FX-Aid. Intellijel Triplatt and Duatt are attenuating and offsetting the CV. FX-Aid adds some reverb.
Digitakt Notes:
The Digitakt is acting as the master clock clocking the modular. Also it is playing some piano notes on the sequencer. I recorded some simple notes and set the trigger probability to around 60%. So the notes aren't hitting on every trigger. I did the same with reversed piano one shots.

thank you! :) Appreciate that. oh forgot to mention, the Modular goes through the Digitakt as you said. The Adapter is named ALM Busy Circuits Din Sync Adaptor Cable for Pamela's New Workout. Basically it extracts clock and transport information from midi to the PNW

Note that Digitakt’s inputs are safely ready to receive eurorack level signals. Just adjust its input levels around 20% of its headroom.

Nice arrangement 🤙. What do you think of the after later resonate module ? I’m terms of build quality and sound ? I used to own MI Rings, but considering this module for price and form factor.

thank you! Haven't had any problems with it. Like the build quality, sure the white Mi frontpanels look nicer in my opinion, but thats second. The sound and built quality are perfect. Tho I can't compare it to the original my self. And the Resonate from After later audio is the same size as the original one. So if you're looking for a smaller Rings module you should consider a nano Rings, I think After Later Audio has one to, but there are many manufacturers who make nRings
