This is the first video in my series of videos going over the different dungeons in my Legend of Zelda x Pokémon crossover project Link Dimension. This project encapsulate what we love about the creature and monster designs and monster taming aspects of Pokemon with fantasy and world building and epic adventure of games like Breath of the Wild, Ocarina of Time, and Tears of the Kingdom. When your first videos came out I pondered which starter I would pick for a full five minutes, only to be dissapointed when I remembered this would never be a game. I am so excited that this may be a real game, and no matter how long it takes, I can not wait for this project to progress further!

man link is truly a great fighter, he was able to defeat the miniboss gugubaba,in the dark(since he doesn't has a gomite in the party) without taking any damage since in the avaribaba bossfight he has full health,that is very impressive

Yes, but that’s only an example. It will be different for each player, depending on what Pokémon you want in your party. I have a habit of catching any new Pokémon in sight, so I probably would’ve had one in my party. (I’m someone who’s passionate about completing a Pokédex.)

I wanted to stay near familiar territory for the first dungeon so that it didn’t feel so alienating but the next dungeon has some pretty different stuff going on! Kuryoki has a lot more going on that I hope people will appreciate as it gets revealed over time! 😄

You know what would be hilarious? An Age of Calamity-esque outcome where one of the allies you make to defeat Ganondorf - in the end - is Master Kohga. Also, I feel like the Sin of wherever they would be located would be either Sloth (because Kohga is kinda lazy) or Gluttony (representing the Yiga's overindulgence of Bananas)

Gosh, i can really feel your improvement with editing, It feels so clean and polished from the new text at the beginning to the way the “hi im bilsu” graphic falls over it really feels. The character designs and dialogue sequences look incredible, I love the writing and the yiga design looks awesome. There is so much INCREDIBLE new content, with pokemon and more, and I can tell that a lot of work went into this video, I am watching this video for a third time and it only gets better on rewatch. I really dig the idea of boss fight first being a pokemon battle, and then having to fight them in combat like Zelda. It’s a great way to combine the two differing playstyles, and it totally works. I also dig the new Forest-type pokemon based on the Deku Babas and the Koroks, the latter being one of my favorite races in the series. Can’t wait to see what’s in store for the rest of this project. It’s got a lot of commitment.

I'm pretty late because i had work but this was amazing! Saria is one of my favorites Zelda characters so im glad she got a glow up and got to be a cool character. I like the Yiga so happy to see them as an evil team, and of course the dungeon was epic! I also like this version of Link, ven ir he talks lmao, he has a lot of personality. Kuryoki also using Midna's soundbites fits too well

For the Goron dungeon, it should be a very bad famine because of the dungeon boss eating everything… There could be a cooking mini game like in Kirby Forgotten World or whatever and you can make rupees and stuff

Man this video was so worth the wait. This just cements the idea that link dimension is a perfect love letter to the entire Zelda franchise, basically being putting everything that makes Zelda Zelda into the definitive zelda experience. To me the pokemon stuff feels like a nice bonus. The story, locations, and mechanics blend elements from the whole series while still creating something new. (Also being the #1 Kohga fan, the Yiga reveal was absolutely amazing) I cannot wait to see the rest of this series, and when this eventually turns into a real game I will be 100% playing it day one and probably do a let’s play series on it. Hell this has the potential to become my favorite Zelda game

This turned out absolutely phenomenal man. I love the story and lore you are developing. The Unown for different symbols of the world and factions is a fantastic idea. The interactions and character designs are wonderful. I also really enjoy the sketches and painterly style of the dungeon entrance and the features of the dungeon like the polyps like link is cataloging the various things he encounters outside of the pokemon. I would love to see Avirababa rendered fully in your style outside of the more cinematic painting because I think the design is fantastic. The introduction and depth brought to the yiga clan was also so well done. I absolutely cannot wait for the next dungeon video and will be binging your previous videos till then while I work on my own world building project that I’ve been stuck on for a bit.

I love this so much!! I can't wait to see more of Link Dimension's story :D (Massive paragraph incoming) I didn't expect to see examples of cutscenes! They look like a rough draft and could use fine tuning dialogue wise(which makes sense, this is a thirty minute video with a lot of info to cover), but they look so good! It makes me want to novelize it as a fanfiction to really flesh out character interactions. Legend of Zelda's Lore and story has always seemed more concrete than Pokemon. I think it's because the game developers intend it for a more mature audience. Pokemon can have a good storyline, but it always just barely scratches the surface of what it could be. Bringing Pokemon into the more solid world of Zelda is just perfect. I can't stop giving you praises the art style is great and a perfect balance of Zelda and Pokemon. The storyline is really interesting so far. I immediately thought about Linked Universe (a popular fan comic where all the different Links meet up and go on adventures together through space/time; it's very good, I'd check it out if you don't already know about it) and wondered how Linked Dimension's Link personality would differ from others like Time, Wild, or Wind. He seems impulsive, but very compassionate and a good motivational speaker. Kuryoki is so cute and mysterious! The fact that the dungeon boss shared type with them and dropped a 'string of memory' almost makes me think that Kuryoki's amnesia is caused by some sort of injury, perhaps Ganondorf's attempt to use the sword that cause pokemon to appear. It might have damaged Kuryoki and split their consciousness somehow, linking (ha) to different creatures and causing them to wreak havoc. It seems like a setup for something tragic, especially since Kuryoki doesn't realize it.

Not sure if someone suggested it already, but to shiny Korokamas could simply be all the same color (with the different arrangement of their body parts that regular Korokamas have) similar to how shiny Minior is always black even though Minior can come in different colors

To me, he has only never talked because of his concept to be a stand in for the person playing them but when it comes to a story, Link is very much a person and I want to portray him as real character. Him interacting with Kuryoki is the main part for me 😄

Honestly the video you made was great and did alot to show both the story and links new personality. I look forward to seeing you continue to expand the series (especially considering the fire area is the one I'm most curious how you plan to make the npc) In terms of improvements, the only thing to me would be to make a illustration of the overworld, non pokemon styled fight with the mini and normal bosses. Pokemon battles are easy enough to experience but a visual of how the overworld battles would go would help people get a feel for how link handles battles and how overworld tools are used.

It’d be really cool if there was a way to access some of the boss signature moves in the postgame or something. Maybe one of them could be a reward for each boss like how gym leaders give you TMs. Maybe Kuryoki could learn some of the boss moves from when it gets a string of memory? Then teach them to your party or something? In a similar vain, is there a way to catch the miniboss variants of pokemon? It would be sad if they were entirely locked away from the player

Yay, another jam packed lore vid! :D This is what I like about LD, it's got plenty of story to backup everything. PIXI EVO CONFIRMED, EEEEEEEEE! I kinda want to (gently!) spin the Forest Unown like a pinwheel... The goo dripping down during the vid was a nice touch! Note to self: have glow boy before entering dungeon... Geeze, I'm just HEARING about this boss and I'm getting a bit anxious. It's probably because of the move pool? Oh Mido, we hardly knew yee...oof, what a way to fix things to boot. But it makes for a nice tie-in to BotW/TotK since the area WAS a swamp? Ah, the disturbing aesthetic that Does Not Belong™ and "Get out of the area before time runs out" quirks. Oh the flashbacks to Ocarina... THE KURYOKI PLOT THICKENS! And on closer inspection, is there supposed to be another chord between the first one? Though I do have one critique and that's how Link interacted with Saria. While I _know_ they'd have *zero* idea they were friends in a past life/canon his approach to talking to her was a bit aggressive. It came up after an attack and got the plot to move faster yes, but it took away a (to me) important aspect: being a good big brother. He's from an idyllic countryside town where kids would be involved at one point or another with the lifestyle, chances are Link's had to be a mentor more than once and knows how to handle kids because of it. I'd say have the interactions be _a bit_ gentler once the "Hey are you Yiga too?" talk has been cleared up. (The mood of the post-battle dialogue doesn't need changing, just a little typo fix) (However that _could_ just be big sis bias...)

First of all amazing job! I really enjoyed how the story played out and it was really interesting. I just have one suggestion and I don’t mean to be rude but if you want kuryoki’s music form to be symbolic to Zelda it could have been an ocorina. But if you wanted to still use the strings of memory that wouldn’t work in which case you could have done a goddess harp and the strings of memory would still work with it. Love ur videos and your my fav faketuber.

The main reason why I chose a guitar is because I (myself) have played the guitar for over 10 years so that instrument is close to me so I wanted to write some parts of the music with my own guitar :)

I think one cool detail that you could do is when your talking about the boss fights show a image of link attacking the boss to give us an idea about how it would play out for example in this video we could have had an image of link cutting one of Avaribabas vine heads off with his axe it would look awsome

Howdy Bilsu, Happy New Year? How are you? Thank you once again for the amazing lore video. I love what you have done with the dungeons, Pokemon, and characters. The dungeon of the husk is spot on for a Zelda game, love the up and down action within the tree husk, and the ideas that can be had there. Love the new pokemon, the Gugubaba and all the others were both stunning and a lovely additions to the universe. As well the miniboss, and boss worked So well I loved them. Love both Saria and Mido and Kuryoki and everything that was done with their development. :) As a small suggestion, I feel like the pokemon can be added both into the miniboss, and the second stage of the boss by taking action somewhat similar to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. In those games you can send a pokemon out for a small bit and it will roam and attack pokemon on a set course, you could do a kind of similar thing here. You could let them all out and they would just scurry along the battlefield and so small little actions that could help you out. Thye might be abke to slow or damage enimies, or heal you, depending on type, and how much by level. That night be a good way to add a bit more pokemon back into the battles while it still acting otherwise like the Zelda Mini-Bosses. Once again thank you so much and have an excellent New Year. I've been watching probably since the starters videos and the only thing I want is that Nintendo sees this, and instead of thinking about copyright, they contact you and make this into a real game with the quality of tears of the knigdom.
