TheSim1derful yup I agree. I don’t plan on dying my hair any of these colors but she’s very good at what she does that I support her channel and even though I may not dye my hair rainbow I feel like these techniques can work for dying hair or bleaching in general.

I had green hair for about 1- 1 1/2 years and I went though so many different tones of it and I loved it so much, I had deep forest emerald green and then I added a blue to it so it would be a blue tone green and I loved that. Then I did purple roots with green ends and then I switched that around and did green with purple ends and loved it so much, now I’m going back to my natural hair colour of dark brown for a bit, whilst I grow my hair out. I’ve been dying my own hair for about 3 ish years (since I was 12) and I’m so happy with my results every time. It’s hard work but If you make a good effort and you do your research and put trust in yourself it’s bound to be something you will like in the end

what did you use for the dark green colour?? i used phantom green, but then it turned blue on my ends and green on my roots. i know phantom green has a lot of blue tones, so i understood why it happened. how did you keep it green? usually if i wash it after dying it green, it does turn blue again.

I am not licensed but I went to hair school in high school for two years but I didn’t end up finishing because I was getting bullied and was flunking our sadly. They based your grade on having clientele. And I had no one that wanted to help me so I started failing . It wasn’t fair. But I been doing my hair and my family’s hair at home because I have all the knowledge just not the license

I can really appreciate how much work everyone is putting in at the salons. I did a quarantine bleach and color. I did it in sectioned steps. Different days. Because I have LONG hair. And it took SO MUCH WORK AND PRODUCT! Ps. Her hair looks gorgeous. I can see what you mean about a slight change in the filming but each change is 💯 beautiful. You did great 💜💚💙

my hair is a very similar color and it captures weirdly too. something about the green really reflects light intensely and can make it look slightly washed out in pictures, but in person it looks richly saturated. i've used that exact arctic fox dye too. though rn i have some very classy splat on my head rn though lol

I love itttt!! Still internally debating whether or not I can pull off this color. Mariah is lucky to have perfect porcelain skin but in all of us who have acne or rosy skin it will reeeaally bring out the redness... :) I don´t want to have to "compensate" for my hair with makeup too much.

I agree! Get ur hair done way sooner. I have been using Chi Chromapaint. And I want emrald green so bad. I first had it pure Green Envy and it turned out almost an electric green. Then I knew I wanted an emrald color and added about equal parts Green Envy and Blue Crush and it turned into a pure darker green. So now I have to put just more blue on it to turn it emrald. Wish me luck. Chi Chromapaint with only shampooing in about once a week, lasted about 2 months with barley any fade. I am doing this emrald now because of my roots.

This combo is my absolute favorite! I’ve been doing this on my hair for about 1.5 years and i lovvveeeee it! It fades to a beautiful sea foam green. I get just as many compliments when it’s faded out as to when it’s freshly dyed! Now that I’m switching colors, it’s difficult to get out 😂😂

I just dyed my hair purple-turquoise-blue-ish, and couldn't get a decent photo of the vibrance of the colours with my phone either. Then i accidentally tapped the filters menu on my iPhone camera, and the first one after original actually did a great job. It might work for you as well. :)

You could get that color with Lime Crime Sea Witch It lasts me 1 month with regular wash (every other day) I could go 1 1/2 months with the pretty color it fades to until i have to dye it again

Oh I had to come back &say: whenever my daughter &I take pics of our hair after applying new color we always take the pics outside in full sunlight because otherwise it never captures the correct color! It's very frustrating! 💚🖤💚🖤

Even though your friend had dark roots her hair must lift well, 20 volume literally does nothing and it took 4 times with 40 volume for my hair to even get that blonde.

Girl, when it comes to photographing certain haircolors, the struggle is real!!! I did a neon green and yellow ombre which looked nuclear in person, but pictures just couldn't pick it up. It literally glowed in the dark, but you would never know it from my profile pictures! The shadow root blend on this is so sick!

Thank you for your explanation at the end result; those blues and greens are just SO hard to do justice based on lighting temperature, camera, etc and I know it's oft a frustration of hairstylists/colorists. Mariah looks STUNNING with the green from my eyes! You even inspired me to do my own version of this with blue jean baby on the shadow root!!! Never tried Arctic Fox before and now I'm hooked because of you. :)
