Of the many recorded strolls through Forest Hills Gardens, none is quite as peaceful and idyllic as this one. An exquisite invitation to this oft hidden, verdant "village." Stunning homes along bucolic and soulful paths -- all laced with lush greenery. Une sorte de symphonie pastorale !

Sifat thanks for sharing this, I grew up here and lived in Forest Hills the majority of my life. I moved away from this neighborhood just few years ago, however I regularly go back to shop and do my personal business transactions on Austin Street and other areas there in Forest Hills regularly. One of my nieces lives in old Forest Hills Gardens, which is absolutely a gorgeous place to live, this is a historical area.

It would be nice idea Sifat if you were to explore Fresh Meadows Queens and consider to show the shopping center on 188th street and 64th circle, and also to show Bayside Queens area - especially walking along Bell Boulevard to show the stores and the Restaurants and walk all the way down to the Bay Terrace Shopping Center.

I have lived in forest hills for 40 years. Here is the reality: crime is definitely up. Many of the shop keepers have been robbed. Cars get stolen all the time. Shop keepers do not keep their streets clean. People who do not live here litter. I recently saw a man relieve himself in broad daylight on the side of the Catholic church. You can no longer take a leisurely stroll through the gardens area. It is not safe. Forest Hills used to be a Utopia when I moved here. Today it is no longer the case. Real Estate Agents are overdeveloping the area. Long lines for basic services. It is not a fairytale.
