But no I know what you mean, simpler songs can ironically be harder to learn if they have less going on in them, due to the fact that they're more likely to lose your interest that way. I could rant about it but basically something middle of the road is preferable imo, not too hard but not too boring, equal amounts melody/flash

Thank you! The guitar is an Ibanez GA6CE. I've heard mixed things about it online, but I've had mine for almost 2 years now and I think it's been great for recording at home and playing live, both while plugged in. Pretty inexpensive as well
