We just bought this one! We love the floor plan, there was not another one like it we found. A king bed you can actually walk around and make, no climbing into like. We're too old to be jumping into the bed. The bathroom, have not seen another like it - big and roomy for the size of this camper. The kitchen is usable and nice. This is perfect for a couple. We love the light airy colors on the inside, no dark heavy feeling. Pulls real nice. Plenty of storage.

We bought a 2024 Grand Surveyor 305RLBS back in May. We love it. Plenty of room in the living area and a great bedroom. Little things I’ve fixed, like most of the plastic walnut trim buckled and I used my Brad gun to re-attach it. Other than that it’s been great. We also have the lifting of the slide floors. Looking for a solution for that next year.

We have have a 2021 202RBLE and are about to start are third season with it. Very few issues with it so far(ceiling trim bulging out , and a leak in the sink drain, fixed both myself). We have just under 5000 miles on it, and so far that is all the issues we have had. We use the breakfast bar top all the time, not big enough for food prep, but with care plenty big enough to eat meals on.

This Week, on the further adventures of Gimpman, and Hotgirl. We find our Dynamic Duo staying in budget, without going too insane! Seriously though you two would make a great inspector #7 at an RV manufacturing shop. Everyone there would hate you, but the RVs would be dope! lol! That bar area is an easy fix. Measure from the chair backs (pushed in), to where you're still comfortable in the work area. Like Angie said a slab of Butcher, and a strong jigsaw, and you've got a one of a kind soft cornered, eat on counter top. Good to see you up, and moving Mike. Always a good day seeing Angie smiling. Now Off to the Gimp Cave!

Previous TT was a Surveyor and did not have any issues living here in Miami, FL and taking it up to Tennessee & NC…never an issue with the counter top. I own a Grand Design now but has a dated TPO Roof whereas my Surveyor had a PVC roof which was strong and easy to clean. TPO feels like it will rip on you easily. Now why you’re not looking at Airstreams or at least Grand Design, Delta (Alliance) I have followed you when you had the high end Class A … Regardless you’ll notice way better fit & finishes when you do a walk through Grand Design and of course a 70% jump if you get into an Airstream. And yes the WinGuard is bad ass! Oh and the Sport Treks across from where you’re viewing the Surveyor; they’re really nice and fit & finish

New 5th wheels, 30-40 ft long, 9000-11,000 lbs, 50-65K. New Ford F-250, 65K. 130K less the trade in on the Dodge, that you’re already not happy with, and you’re looking at around, 115K. If you plan on spending lots of time in it, you’ll be happier. If it’s just for a week, here and there, rent one. $4000 here and there, is better than purchase price, insurance, maintenance, storage, up grades, plus all of the headaches you know will come with it.

We keep our outdoor fridge running while travelling by plugging it into a small solar generator that always goes with us anyway. We use a Bluetti EB3a and it keeps our fridge running for about 4 hours of travel. Quality and travel trailer really don't go together. Rockwood/Flagstaff seem to be good quality but are heavy and pricey. This floorplan isn't good if you occasionally have guests because of the bathroom situation. Let me know if you find any RV theater seats that don't cut across my calves. I'm only 6'1" and ours are awful. The best quality I've seen is Northwood out of Oregon. High priced and heavy, but their quality is good.

We have looked at them and yes, the quality is a little better than most. Problem is that it's way too heavy for our truck to tow. By the time we buy a new 3/4 ton truck we have 175k invested - that is class A and super C territory which allows us to go into many more RV resorts. Problem is, we don't want to spend 200K!

We have have a Forest River ( 44ft fifth wheel). As we all know ALL trailers simply cheap materials and poorly manufactured. As you stated in this review… change out all things you dislike AS SOON as you get home. Then you get to meet a more usable standards that NEVER exist in all trailer manufacturing . A few cheap upgrades and you have got it :) 1- Kitchen counter…. 400$ 2- Overhead lighting exchange 200!$ 3- New mattress 600$ 4- Bathroom exhaust fan 350$ 5- Bathroom faucets (remove the plastic crap) 150$ 6- Remove the outside speakers early, before they damage the wall ! We use the simple bluetooth speakers. Can move them around as needed. With both of your great building skills, you could make this a fun livable space for your event trips.

Noticed that the trailer with the "bar" didn't have any other table for you to sit at to eat or work. So unless you like sitting on a bar stool that blocks the entrance in and out you would need to eat while in the couch or the bed. And as I said, if someone was sitting at that bar, they would be blocking the entrance in and out of the trailer for anyone else. I'm also not a fan of the huge number of stickers the trailer has on it around the outside.

If only there was a way you could hook up your sewer hose before you put your slide out. That would be so convenient if there was a way to do that!
@irritatedtraveler10 ай бұрын
Connecting the sewer hose really isn't a problem, it's dumping it when the slide is out that's the problem! I suppose you could retract the slide every time you dump the gray tank but that doesn't seem very efficient when staying somewhere for days at a time.
@jdollar585210 ай бұрын
We have 2 hoses. If we are going to be stationary for more than 5 days, we hook up both hoses. For shorter stays we don't worry about the kitchen hose until we are breaking down and the slides are in.

Whatever you get ,before you hand over the money ,get the dealer to go an get it weighed with any options you purchase. Look at independent suspension and better braking . Check the warranty wording for detail ,see where you really stand and who is responsible for warranty repair. Seeing the problems that many are seeing with new RVs ,gett a full check that everything works after a good teat run ,all this just from watching people with all the issues that tou wouldn't think a new eig would have . Ask if the rig ahould be driven off road or gravel roads ,rhe answer may leave you thinking what the !
