Also the max carrying capacity is 720 pounds. That can add up quick, especially if you don't keep most items on truck bed until you get to spot.

Watch out for “all electric”. It’s not made for anything more that a weekend trip. Propane heated water and refrigerators are a must have. Now if they had a propane refer with a 12 volt compressor. That would be the bomb. But it will never happen. PS: that trailer blue a tire on the way back home and totally the rig. Less than 2000 miles and the whole side was ripped off by the tread. It wiped out the battery compartment, the shower, the cabinets inside. She could see the inside of the trailer by the time she got off the road.

Might buy one and take a trip to wherever your shop is to make sure it's in peak condition

The first thing you should do is replace the tires. Even if there new. Then put in a propane stove and refrigerator. Then add a propane tank and hook up the water heater and everything else. Then it might be worth using.

No. It’s the same problems. This trailer suffered a blowout on its way back from Arizona to Tennessee. It only had 2000 miles on the “factory tires”. It shredded the tire and by the time she got off the highway from 55 to the shoulder. It completely destroyed the left side. All the electrical, plumbing, cabinets and the shower. It was a totaled by the insurance. It happened in Texas. So she left it with a dealer. I have not talked to her this year to see what she has done.

Every time I see a newer trailer I like, I get on KZbin to see what issues other owners may be having. My conclusion: Anything built by Forest River or most any trailer manufacturer in the last 10 years is garbage. You're better off grabbing twenty or thirty grand and just start throwing it out the window as you drive down the highway.

I have the same unit. and its a pos. I took all the renogy crap out and redid all the electrical and solar myself. wish I didn't do that because the interior is falling apart. its junk!!

I think it happened in Texas. The trailer place is going to repair it and sell it on consignment for her. She rented a u-haul to get back home.

Hahaha well I doubt that that tiny little thing cost $40k but none the less it’s a disappointment. Pretty much all travel trailers are slapped together in a hurry and quality in construction is a total joke.

That’s why I went with a horse trailer. I know of several people that rolled them onto the side somehow and the trailer was still able to be towed. Of course everything inside was a mess. But at least the animals were ok

Their response to the owner was, “we don’t respond to critics and he has no idea what the capabilities of the trailer are”. It’s easy to see that they, or the dealers have no idea what they are doing.

@@CrazyMarty We have the same brand of camper and its been back to the dealer 3 or 4 times for the solar, the last time I took it back they seem to fix it but I just don't know enough about the solar to know if we have all the setting set right for it to charge correctly, we are in Colorado and want to use it year round but can't if the solar not working right.we need some HELP.

I’m in Montana at the moment. I’ll be heading that direction in a month or so. All you need to do is download the manual. Then set up a custom battery profile. Set the absorb to 14.2 volts and the float to 13.8. You don’t need equalization so turn that off. It doesn’t hurt the batteries to sit at 14.2 for the whole day. If you have the charge controller that runs off the alternator. You will need a Bluetooth dongle to make any changes to it. Send me a PM on Facebook if you want help. What’s stupid is the big MPPT charger on the wall is only running off the portable panel you set on the ground. The ones on the roof are running through the small charger.
