LOVE IT. 1:04:45 he talks about coming to one pointedness concentration... it only comes by focus on one point. When you are initially sitting down in your session, you can do all kinds of things to settle down the mind and body. To relax everything as much as possible. Then when you switch to one point concentration on the breath, that is the game now. Don't switch out to follow the breath in a cycle, or look at the abdomen rising and falling, or something else. The only thing necessary is to stick with the game. Focus on the breath at that tiny point where you feel the breath sometimes. Don't focus anywhere else. It's not fun. It's the game though. It must be won to see samadhi, Jhana, etc.

@KrabiAdventure9 ай бұрын
@@rupeeking8138 Exactly this. The body must be fully relaxed in every way, sitting still, very balanced. Try sitting so still that you aren't there. This is before Samadhi, which is when you really aren't fully there (ego-filled you). When you become one with the breath, Samadhi.

The 4 noble truth the complete teaching of Lord Buddha. The complete understanding of these 4 noble truth leads one to nibanna. The Buddha tell you to practice vipasanna meditation and experience the 4 noble truth clearly and you can become ariya or Sotopana. How to become a Sotopanna? You will need to have calm mind or samadhi to get into the 4 foundation of mind, body, feeling, perception or mental formation. You will only get into samadhi or calm states of mind only when you are able to constantly follow the meditation object. I am a sotopana and i am able to enter samadhi easily. It is not magic. You will really need to be able to flow with your inbreath and out breath projected to your abdominal rising and falling. I have experiment this when i follow the breath constantly, my mind begin to show me the 4 foundation of mindfulness. I then purposely stop focus and stop to follow the meditation object, imediately the samadhi also disappear. And when i begin to really follow the breath again, samadhi return and i begin to see the 4 foundation of body again feelings, perception, mental formation arises. As one continue with calm and flowing with the meditation object you will one day enter ceesation of mind once your practice are perfectly free from greed, hatred, delusion. As you ongoing practice your vipasanna meditation only then you will one day enter the stream. Do you know why? It is because as you have already reach the 4 foundation, the mind is continuingly ongoing removing greed, hatred, delusion inside your mind. Until such time it is really perfectly clean from greed, hatred, delusion, then suddenly you will experience ceesation of your concious where you become cut off from this existence and as you enter magga and palla. You are now a sotopanna. You have finally come to experience the last noble truth where the mind ceases you enter the streams.Mind do not exist anymore when you experience nibanna. Suki hotu. @RickNuthman4 жыл бұрын
Not complete sila for 7 days, but complete sati for 7 days. sati is mindfulness. There must be continuous sustained awareness of whatever arises. Good sila facilitates the ability to enter samadhi, which quiets the mind enough for wisdom to arise. With samadhi established we are able to see things as they are without the defilements clouding things.

Doubt in the Buddha are destroy fully. 3.Rite and ritual are exterminate with panna as they see the true characteristic of aniccha, dukkha, anatha(rite and ritual here mean one blindly following wrong teacher or wrong teaching as to this way and that way are exterminated. This is how one characteristic will incline to the path. Confident and the urgency to practice the teaching grow.(This one will notice) And the 5 precept are now firmly set.

Vipasanna practice is experience and awareness of mind and body activities and one stay in neutral without intefering with the activities. Just be an observer and experience and aware and detach everything with calmness. This is how one will Progress if fully understand the meaning of AWARENESS,DETACHED,AND STAY CALM(UPEKA) Practice in this way will leads to NIBANNA the ceaseation of mundane 6 senses the awaken state one will finally experience. This is how one enter the path and return as explain below: Into the path it may arise in a single,how magga phala occur. It may occur in a single moment. Time and space are irrelevant to one who know. It all begin with sitting vipasanna meditation,Note the primary object(breathing out, breathing in is the primary object of concentration and absorb in the object(when one breathing follow the breath consistently is the meaning of absorb or we call clear comprehension sampanjanna) Calm arise and noticeable(when this happen breath disappear do not look for breath from this point onwards. Now the object is the Happy sensation which is jhanna/ssmadhi or calmess of mind state and as it become stronger it arise and bringing more calmness with whole body feeling pleasure sensation(3rd jhanna) , then 5 sense door suddenly stop (4th jhanna and concious(one point concentration where mind is alone without activities as 5 senses already stop , now mind is left alone. This mental state is known as UPEKA. And gradually the mind finally shut down)this moment is known as ceaseation of mind(Nirodha samapathi/veesation attainment) as one enter NIBANNA the awakening state and free from death and rebirth. Next: Upon Nibanna exoeriencing and return to mundane conciousness the sequence of returning from path to mundane are notice in return order start with awareness(concious) One will not aware when one about to enter the path as one is absorb in strong samadhi concious without activities. ( concious without 5 senses). One when return back enter into the path(mundane concious ceases) one will not be aware(why? Because you mind are adsobe in strong samadhi) After these strong adsobtion samadhi subside you will realise your mind is bright and clear,easy to observe the breath without hindrances This is the moment begin to become aware of this mundane existence. Upon returning from the path one is like just wake up from a deep sleep,fresh,alert,not tired and one is in sitting erect posture ,firm and in tranquility with whole body filled with pleasure sensations and everything around you is unknown at this moment after return from nirodha samapathi the state of enlightment. Aware(mundane concious) is the first to return after ceaseation of six senses. arise(only concious) at this point the 5 senses still dormant. Whole body vibration(these vibration is pleasure sensation and is accompany with tremendous joy/ happiness. Then one will experiece the body is now noticeable and it is erect and straight in sitting meditation posture. Mind is notice to be very calm. One Recollection into the experience arise at this point and one clearly see the process how one goes thru, in to the path and return from the path. Now one know what is path and what is non path. Doubt in the practice vanish. One now is fully confident in the mind purification process. Confident in BUDDHA, DHAMMA, SHANGHA are now unshakeable. BUDDHAM SARANAM GACCHAMI Apologies for spelling mistake and edited. Was a samanera when experience the path. And practice is vipassana. Instructions of practice according to MAHASI SAYADAW of Burmah.

Just say calm ,calmer,calmest or say strong stronger,strongest. It is in this way the meaning of jhanna and samadhi can be quickly understood. It is the mind that become peace, more peaceful, completely peaceful . Jhana are to be easily understand in this way. This is from my 37 over years of vipasanna meditation and experience and have come to attain to the path. And seeing all the 8 level of jhanna and the final 9th level is ceesation of conciousness. There are totally 4 pairs.Path and fruition in each pair so totalling eight states of calm mind. The 9th level is magga phala. Suki hotu. Buddhang saranam gacchami
