Dear brother Clark, your lesson on the tongue has brought me tears. I feel so much zeal in this lesson. It does my heart so good to hear the Word of God proclaimed so passionately. For indeed the tongue is an unruly member and my mom spent her life time teaching me from the cradle to her grave about how much harm the tongue can do. In fact the lies it expelled were used to kill our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. How can we even be a part of this evil. My brother once told me when I was a teen, he said "Phyllis you wouldn't get in so much trouble if you wouldn't tell on yourself so much. The Bible says that "your sins will surely find you out. I grew up on knowing what does the Bible say from my parents and grandparents and I never abandoned my Lord. For He never abandoned me. Altho, at times He probably thought about it! Knowing what all He suffered for me embedded His Fingerprints on my heart and DNA on my soul. We need to proclaim our love for Him. If God be for us who can be against us! Thanks for the lesson on the tongue. Man needs to be convicted of sin. We are getting to a point of every man doing right in his own eyes and they are throughing "Thus Sayeth the Lord" out the window. Brethren blessings and cursing ought not come from the same mouth. The Bible says you are for Him or against Him... As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord! Phyllis a Fellow servant of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ... that meets in FL Peace be to you all! My Bible Family is all that I have and really all I want in this wretched world!
