Bertram hit perfection by the mid eighties; that "core look" had been preserved up until The Feretti Group became the new owner. After that occurred I couldn't tell a Bertram, from an Ocean, Egg or Post at the docks. TRUE SHAME. Good luck to the new owners, I only wish that the new 35' was a 31'. That would of left them room to make the 38' again. At least the new owners have brought back the core line, I remain very optimistic they will keep it going! They're fan club wants the 80's machines back again; with bigger motors and even nicer interiors 😎.

Brendan Perry that's exactly why they must change,to stay alive... Your 80*s clients are probably of the baby boomers era, the clients of the next generation want swept lines and those single seamless windows that give todays yachts that same look they all have in common. Even American cars are incorporating European aesthetics, these kids want everything fast!

@@edgu71eg very true , i am 19 but would prefer a old classic Bertram any day, gorgeous boat for sport and play not to worried about speed:)

Joey F mate I’m 17 and I still prefer the older models.
