Just finished a semi-tanker drive of almost 9000 mile round trip. Toledo, OH to Chicago,IL to Fairbanks,AK then back to Indianapolis, IN and finally to Toledo. Almost 3 weeks in a day cab. The Alaska Highway and Yukon Highway were something that I always wanted to try before I retired.

Good to see the fantastic Squirrel 'get in and drive' videos, I've missed them. This reminds me that we'll be getting forestry in Oregon DLC for ATS, looking forward to that. I've got RusMap, Southern Regions, and The Great Steppes, all under the ProMods umbrella. You can't get much better than that, except that soon i'll be adding the Turkey map to all of those.

Oi Squirrel! Nice vid as always. About the miscaulculating time drop off you wondered, I've experienced and wondered the same, mostly when I pick jobs in or within Rusmap, Great Steppe and/or Southern Region. Recently I tested one route generated with Virtual Sync from Uralsk (Kazakhstan) to Bilbao (Spain), 25t russian diesel trailler with a total of 5.078km to run. The initial expected deadline to drop off in Bilbao was around 4 in game days. Even though I was running like crazy and breaking several traffic rules, I took 3 in game days to get to the german border. I could manage to drop off 122hours and 38 min (in game time) after I picked the job, 33 hours and 15 min after the original expected time. I was driving a Scania v8 New gen 540hp btw so power was not a problem at all. I guess thats the beauty of driving across Russia with all the gorgeous roads, police cars in every corner and crazy traffic, well I like it. Anyways, not a problem at all as I was testing the sync with a 4 map combo but it usually happens on that area as well as Icelandic dirty/broken roads. Again, congrats for your work. Keep on rockin'!

Seeing an older truck in the game reminds me of how much I wish the game had second hand trucks and you had to start with old trucks that aren't as reliable, have no cruise control, etc. And then as you build up, you get better ones.

You just named it. SCS drop off and garage assets all look alike, aswell as the gas stations. It currently is one of the biggest cons to me regarding map design, at least after they fixed the German/base map intersections. Nice video.

You mentioning speeding in Russia reminded me of a drive my family made before the reunification of Germany. There was a road corridor between Hildesheim and Berlin controlled by the Russians. Your journey was timed by them from end to end. If you were too slow you could be arrested for spying. To fast and you got a speeding ticket. It’s great fun having a Committee of four deciding if the car is going the right speed!

Im like you, love curvy difficult roads in mud, gravels..in to the woods, up in the mountains. So tired of all tarmac roads..You should find small curvy roads into the forrests to get timber somewhere..my game crashed in there before m I hope they've fixed it now. Yeah Squirrel I love that truck, I downloaded it after seeing you drive it on the review video, as you say, if you have the G27 which I do have, it feels so real and lovely to drive, it's very responsive too, and the engine sounds are great too, love how it drives, it feels different to all the other trucks in the game. I know Hawkbs Dalton Highway Map Mod for ATS which is in 1.1 scale allows you plenty of time but maybe it adjusts to the scale of the map. From Fairbanks too Livengood is 55mph limit and Livengood all the way too Deadhorse is 50mph limit. So if you wanted a sleep in Coldfoot and even with the challenges the road throws at you I still say you have plenty of time to drop your load.

I am surprised none of the trucks and buses you have been driving lately do not have a tachometer, but now I see it, it's little in size up high on the dash & I like the green scale for RPM............... I hope your hay fever gets better, however your voice is ok to me. I love American Truck Simulator and I'm from near New York City give you a rough idea where I live. Right now I am driving a wine colored W900 Kenworth, I find backing it up is not quite as easy because of the exhaust stacks, but it’s a great truck to drive. I am surprised you drive on the same side as USA trucks & cars, on the left………. This was fun to watch and you are a good narrator. It looks like that same set up from ATS. While backing up especially blind side is a challenge, to me it feels unrealistic to back into the loading dock as you did from looking outside the truck like you did. With all the improvements of ATS and I guess your game too, it's just about impossible to back up blind side and do it from totally inside the truck. They need to do some really hard work on making better and realistic mirrors in my opinion. But I still love ATS regardless, I have two garages of 3 bays, both are full, and going for the third very soon. Thanks for your video.

I have hayfever too, but I don't anymore. I had sportstape on my back for 2 weeks. It touches your neurosystem so your brain doesm't think you have hayfever anymore. It sounds weird but it really worked by me. A phisiotherapist put the tape on my back. I'm from Holland I don't know if this method is used in your country but it works☺.

You can't, the time limit of deliveries is calculated based on an average speed number that's in the game files, by default it's 60 kmh.

It is good you like the truck... Its a hell of a good looking piece of equipment as well....As I already stated in a previous comment of mine.. I really like the classic look, this truck has..... It is kind of sad the game doesn't allow you to buy 2nd hand trucks, when you are starting a game....I am also looking forward to owning trailers.... Something they should add to the game is that you, as the company owner.....be able to buy warehouses or a piece of land which gives you the option to build different buildings on it....The building materials could be hauled to the location, by yourself.... :-) .. You can think about building equipment like a crane and timber or bricks...
