Buckle up as Andrea hits the trails and travels back in time to Camp Five Logging Museum in Laona. Andrea then ventures south to Madison, home to Forest Products Laboratory. Here, Andrea dives into the world of forestry science, learning the uses and anatomies of trees, to name a few. From there, Andrea sets out to discover the more practical uses of wood, such as building tiny homes and places like Boulder Ridge Treehouse in Bayfield. From Boulder Ridge to barrels of whiskey in Cambridge, Andrea is off to Dancing Goat Distillery to get word on the flavorful combination of whiskey and wood. More awaits in Medford, where Bear Butt Carvings spark Andrea’s creativity (and foodie cravings). After a barbeque stop at Smokey Woods, she is ready to head back north to see the Ruffed Grouse Society and visit the inspiring Trees for Tomorrow.
