I'm more disturbed that Westerners go around thinking that their archaic Jude-Christian-Islamic based morally should apply to other peoples, nations, and cultures who do not share the same religion, culture, or history. I understand that most Westerners have set their age of consent laws to the age of 18. How you came up with that number or why you think it's the right number is irrelevant because other peoples, nations, and cultures are not obligated to follow your moral-religious dogmas. Are people only capable of falling in love at the age of 18? How is it justified that an older man can freely have a relationship with an 18 year old but go to prison for 25+ years if he has a relationship with a 17 year old? Western legalism is evil and disturbing enough without their incessant need to expel their opinions and dogmas.

@@deadbutmoving it has nothing to with my religious beliefs. Especially when you can find scripture/passages or even whole sects that are completely fine with it. Also trying to blame that a grown man looked at 10 year old felt sexual attraction on Eastern culture / religious beliefs is not only wrong but completely illogical. As a Non-Westerner, I think traditional Western views on sex are way too repressive and strict; And I strongly suspect that's why your legal systems reflect that culture. In traditional East Asian cultures human sexuality is not as demonized as in the West. In most of our traditional cultures human sexuality is celebrated and appreciated. In Japan there are things like penis festivals, where the male genitalia is celebrated. We do not view female sexuality so strictly or negatively as Westerners do. Sex and the desire for sex is not something to be ashamed of. We like to find healthy outlets for sexual energy instead of religious, legal, and cultural repression. Before contact, colonization, and cultural domination by the Western powers, East Asians rarely if ever had a culture of sexual repression, we (Unfortunately) picked that up from the West. Why you Westerners believe 18 is the magical age when people's sexual desires are real or legally recognized is beyond me. And quite frankly, I don't really care what your cultural dogmas are. Keep them to yourself and in your own nations, you are in no positions to judge others, and if you decide to voice your opinion you better have some sound logic, or be prepared to be exposed as the Western-centric nutjob that you are. The very idea that Sexuality is harmful to people is already a very Western point of view. And the idea that the government's job is to regulate consenting human sexuality is pretty much Judeo-Christian-Islamic theocracy at it's worst.
