Giuk's first mini was, I thought, very strong for a self-composed solo debut and I was expecting more of the same with this release but HOLY COW it feels like he's already improved so much in just a few months! Rise Waves might honestly be one of my favorite mini albums of 2023. Between Giuk's stellar releases this year and Yonghoon already hinting that good news is coming despite still being 40 days away from his military discharge, I'm all the more excited for what Onewe is gonna give us in 2024. 🥰

Giuk this year absolutely COOKED! From that debut to his comeback, his creative brain is whipping up some bangers both musically and lyrically. And the album was again top tier, got some RBW family features with Leedo and Moonbyul on the b-sides as well

Thank you for this reaction! It's such a beautiful and emotional song, truly. Thankfully, Scratch isn't based on Giuk's personal experience but instead on an anime movie, I think it's called "Even If This Love Disappears from the World Tonight"? The rest of Giuk's Rise Waves album also has some beautiful songs on it (some of my favorites are My Blue, Outro: Dresden, and Block123 feat. Moonbyul), so I hope you get around to listening to those as well (even if you don't react to them).

Giuk is just amazing!! It'd be great if you could also react to the song he has with Moonbyul - Block123, there is also a live stage in which both of them were just flawless!

i like the sentiment of his lyrics that even if its a scratch and they're are bigger wounds to come he'll nvr let it heal bcs that was how beautiful it was
