Forever home for ex-circus tigers Max, Kimba and Simba

When ADI rescued tigers Max, Kimba and Simba from a Guatemala circus, the race was on to find their forever home. Big Cat Rescue of Florida stepped up, pledging to sponsor the rescue of these three beautiful boys, covering the costs of their food and care at the ADI Temporary Rescue Center and their flight out of Guatemala.
Now, we need YOUR help to get the remaining 17 lions and tigers out of Guatemala to the new ADI Wildlife Sanctuary, South Africa.

Love you guys soooo much for all the hard work you are doing! I watch ALL your rescue videos and am a supporter. I just have to say, every time I see wounds on those magnificent animals , no matter how small, it breaks my heart completely! It is somehow different if those scratches are from fights in a wild and sooo different when they get them from rubbing metal bars in cages or when "trained" for some tricks in those circuses....there are NO ugly tigers! And each one is soooo unique!!....love them all....

We went to the Big Cat Rescue in Tampa, FL a couple of weeks ago and saw Max, Kimba, and Simba. So very glad they were rescued. All three are beautiful animals and now have a gorgeous home and very concerned caregivers. They were so fortunate when they got to go to Big Cat Rescue! Can't release captive tigers, but they have a great home now.

Thank you for all that you guys do. I'm 33, I hope before I leave this earth there will be no more circuses and no more suffering for all animals. They deserve natural habitat not concrete slabs. Its beautiful to see these amazing animals touch grass and feel more free but it's still heart breaking. We have to do better. Keep up the good work.

Bless you ADI for saving these beautiful creatures. There are too few good people like you guys around, and too many ignorant and indifferent humans. It's not just circuses. Tiger breeding farms in Thailand, poachers from countries like Laos going into Malaysian jungles to carry out their evil deeds now that tigers no longer exist in their jungles ... all these show the dark side of humanity. The Indochinese tiger is on the edge of extinction in Thailand and Myanmar, and will soon go the way of the Caspian tiger and the Balinese tiger. It's so sad that we humans can be so destructive. But going after poachers alone won't do. If countries are serious about protecting tigers, they have to tackle the demand for tiger parts. Remove the demand and there would be no need for supply. But that would be an uphill battle, of course, mindsets being the hardest thing to change. ;(

Thank you for your kind words. You're right about that. These issues have to be addressed on all fronts. That is why aside from rescuing animals, we campaign for animal protection, providing technical briefing to legislators legislators and governments, conducting investigations and creating public awareness and giving people information on how they can take action to help animals around the world.

I am a Malaysian , and it disgusts me to see the Neandarthal mindset here that's unappreciative of the treasures our jungle hold , particularly the wildlife , with the tiger being the most special . Punishments for killing wildlife are just a slap on the wrist . You may disagree , but the poachers must be dealt with mercilessly in a manner that the job is not worth the punishment . Nobody will shed a tear for them .The present punishments are no deterrent . - Zainal .

It's most humane to euthanize an animal with answer, especially if the animal is already declining, though it depends on the severity and type of cancer.

The local grocery store (1958) in the parking lot a small circus. Ten cents to ride a elephant. To this day I feel guilty. But what did we know.
