“Forever Starting, Never Ending”, performed by Ejiro Elton Agoba, a Lindner College of Business graduate from the class of 2024 at our spring commencement ceremonies
“I am deeply thankful to the University of Cincinnati for nurturing my dreams and providing a stage for my voice in poetry. It has been an extraordinary journey.
The poem I performed is titled “Forever Starting, Never Ending” and it quotes ‘This is not a goodbye poem, because you can never say goodbye to family. College is a mother that gave me brothers and sisters, not just friends. College is the stranger that mama told me to talk to. Dear college, if you still don’t understand, we don’t need change, we need you.’
