in a interview chan said that the song is write and based of his experience, so all the lyrics that he wrote are about his 7 years of trainee, the depression, loneliness, difficulty of taking the path of being a artist and leave everything at 13 years old, he said he want people to feel understand with this song... is a beautiful and personal piece for him

I didn't listen to Stray Kids yesterday after listening to them for 3 months straight and I realized when I listened to them again today that you can feel their passion and love of composing/writing/singing/rapping and just being Stray Kids in their music. It's beautiful. And it's one of the many reasons I will be a Stay for life!!

This video made me think about some things, like, right at the start where Han, Felix and Changbin talk about how they wastes their youth for the idol life they have now made me remember how young they were when they debuted and even before that with the survival show and all the years as treinees, Felix that didn´t even know how to speak korean properly and all that. In the pre chorus I thought about how in the start they faced so much hardship and not that much people were cheering they on, they were in a new environment where they didn´t know if they would really make it. When in the chorus BangChan and LiSa say that they didn´t give up cause that´s what they wanted( the idol life) even they went trough so much. In the 2 verse I think they referred to people from social media talking abot them and how that made them be even harder on themselves. People chasing Seungmin and ignoring IN made me remember how people go after Seungmin because of his voice and how there were people that said that IN should not have debuted with Stray Kids( what I think it´s pretty unfair cause he´s so talented) At the bridge when Felix and Han talk abot the old days it makes me thing about the surviving show. Han trapped in the glass place reminded me of his anxiety and how hard it must be for him to deal with all the bad things people say in the net. The people choking BangChan must be cause of that misunderstanding that led to the end of Chan´s room, people that says he´s a bad leader, all the hate he received when Woojin left the group and so much more like the 7 years as a treinee without his family and seeing all his friends debut while staing behind. Felix in the bed with wings maybe is the potential to go high, fly high, but having to deal with the criticism, people always watching them can be their thoughts or people waiting for them to do something wrong just to talk shit about them on the net. But even so they continue to do what they want cause that´s what they want. That´s what I could take from this music and video, maybe (probably) I´m wrong but that´s it and sorry for the mess that this is and for my bad writing, my first language isn´t english so this migh be really confusing

Chan wrote this about his own experiences. His story is so heart wrenching. He left everything at 13 in Australia & went to Korea alone. He was basically alone for 6 years till he met Han. 😢 I remember him mentioning being literally alone in the dorms one year when everyone got cut from JYP & he was literally the only 1 left. Can you imagine being a young kid alone in a massive empty dorm. All his friends had debuted, & everyone else was cut. He made a decision never to get close to anyone again and ended up in a really dark place. He's made more than one reference to his mental health suffering during this time. Luckily he met Han & Changbin to form 3RACHA then later the rest of the boys & he said they saved him. 😢😭😭😭 He's literally a walking miracle. ❤❤❤❤ (Hence the levitation or ascending visual) He is so incredibly strong to overcome all he did. Knowing this made this song hit so hard.😢

Every time I also get blown away with each song Stray Kids releases. I am so glad I got to see Stray Kids grow from a baby Stray kid to stardom where they are touching the stars. This song is an amazing masterpiece. It hits everyone of my favorite boxes. Thank god Felix only has a few lines because if he sang anymore I would be dead. His vocals in this gave me chills of happiness and I want to punch someone vibes. LOL He should register his vocals as a lethal weapon. Every part of the members lines were delivered beautifully. Every vocals on this song went to god status. Hyunjin's low tone vocal range were amazing. Hans rap and vocals brought tears to my eyes. BangChan, Lee Know, Seungmin, and I.N. were perfect. This song was a direct hit to my Stay Soul.

An update is that the haters has a more apparent presence through these anonymous paperbagheads (that itsandyandjas relate to keyboard warriors) hounding them but Stray Kids just push theyre way through it, still looking up and raising their flag.

Even though these lyrics fit perfectly with SKZ's lives, I personally think this song is not just about them but all of us who keep struggling to adjust in new surroundings when they start to have a job or keep studying to make their dreams come true. Not that people out there are all harsh and mean. Just trying to fit in new surroundings and people and making one's own path is not that easy. Sometimes out there is not nice to you as you hope and you feel like an alien among all people around you or among all passersby in the street on the way to work or home or feel like an alien in jobs you choose to start by yourself There are demons in your head that make you doubt your self and seduce to quit, saying that this job or study or pursuing your dream is not worth for you to make those efforts and to be hard on yourself and just give up and let go. So you have to fight demons in yourself and keep persuing your dream even though sometimes people or situations around you make your lives hard and they doubt you or are cold on you Especially for Koreans, to sacrifice the current life for future is a very familiar concept. (Study hard, otherwise your future will be miserable or you will live as a loser in your future, et cetera et cetera) SKZ had to learn and practice really hard to debut as trainees but common Korean high-school kids have to study till nights everyday to enter a good university and lots of young people have to spend hours in the library to pass the exam to enter good companies or governments they want to join. So l say the lyrics are very related to not just idols but also common people. So I think this song for all who are fighting for their lives and dreams and a cheer-up song for all including SKZ themselves This song reminds me of Han's alien and 3racha's songs before they debuted as SKZ Have a great day ❤

Total off topic, but am I the only one that notices that in their Japanese title tracks, well, at least in this one and 'Circus', they both feature a scene where Felix comes on for a moment to bring the energy down.... Then, Hannies voice comes in, however, unlike the usual way in which they show the member whos singing... They instead show Lino, and hes pushing his way through a crowd. Both of songs/MVs, it's the same thing. I mean, that can't be a coincidence. Specially considering that both tracks have to do with rather relative topics too.

When I saw they were having a collaboration with none other than LiSA, I knew it was gonna be fire :) She's one of the most prolific singers in Japan, I bet you already heard her in one of the many openings and endings she made for several anime series, such as Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, Sword Art Online, Angel Beats!, the Fate series, etc. Oh, and don't forget, every song they release on their japanese channel does not have subs unfortunately :(

I think for Lee Know Those are like Fans who expect too much from their fav artists and artists feel pressured from those type of fans specially when they are not at their best It may also include the delusional fans who expect idols to be more than what they can become, like sasaeng fans and toxic delusional fans… some stalk their favs and are threat to their personal space and privacy and some even wanna “marry” their favs and can go to crazy extents and can even harm the artists The first part is… Like the Han’s verse in Slump says : “Everyone gonna be watching I gotta show 'em all of me But I've been insecure lately, Cause I don't know what they want from me ey Feeling so nervous, I wanna go forward but everyone else overtaking me Blocking my vision, my body is shaking I don't know if I can keep up, yeah, yeah”

Or it can be something like… No matter how high an artist go (Like the bed is elevated above the ground) Such people will always have an eye over their success and would wait or prepare for their downfall Those are the ppl waiting for the downfall of the artists who are up above gaining success Haters hate it when the artist they hate reach new milestones and always pray for those artists’ downfall and maybe that’s what the elevated bed and Lee Know sitting over it represents… artists are also humans… no matter how much they gain… the haters are crazy ppl and can affect anyone’s mental health very significantly… it’s the human tendency that most of us can’t ignore every bad things… we are not always in our best condition physically and mentally

The whole song is about the harsh journey and how their passion have a very significant part in their success… when Chan joined the K-pop industry as a trainee… in 2010… he did not even know K-pop was gonna be big in future and only his passion, dedication and his decision to actually give it all for music led him to the K-pop industry where he met Stray Kids, now the leader of Stray Kids leading one of the most successful K-pop groups and always trying and giving their best to prove themselves even when the negativity keeps increasing with their popularity… they will keep on walking on this Social Path which is marked by their own passion and you can see that burning passion’s ashes or their multiple outcomes on their multiple steps in every part of this path… it’s their path… it’s their journey… it’s their efforts… and it’s their achievements… THEY CALL IT A “SOCIAL PATH”
