Forever Young (Alphaville / Arr. Thiemo Kraas) - Stadtkapelle Hermeskeil

Thiemo Kraas has arranged this classic of pop music wonderfully for wind orchestra.
We were pleased to be able to play this grandiose arrangement for the first time for our home municipality.
At the same time the evening in the city park was the introduction to the city week 2023.
On 07.07.2023 we played our picnic concert in Hermeskeil in the city park.

Musical director is the Braunshausen conductor Stefan Barth.

Wär gut gewesen, wenn der Saxophonist bei seinem Solo aufgestanden wäre. Hat er aber ansonsten gut gespielt.

@@stadtkapelle-hermeskeil Ich verstehe sehr gut, wenn man zu einem Solo nicht gern aufsteht. Ich spiele selber Baritonsax und mag mit dem schweren Instrument auch nicht gern aufstehen.

Ja das stimmt, insbesondere wenn es sehr eng auf der Bühne ist. Bei unserem Auftritt im Stadtpark saßen wir recht eng, weil unser gesamtes Orchester nicht in den Pavillon passt.
