Foreverago, from our 2007 CD "Can Life Be So Simple" will be our first of at least 27 "original rehearsal rough" videos. John & Bill get together for 5-6 hours most weeks, practice originals, maybe WRITE originals, and maybe learn a cover or two. Often we decide to shoot a quick "rough" video for posterity! Look for the studio version of this one in the "music videos" section here, or on pretty much all streaming platforms!
John Gates - Taylor 514 CE, lead guitar and harmony vocals

Four o'clock in Fresno feels like twelve o'clock in Tucson
Feels like any time in any other town I'm driving through
All seems the same. Same traffic lights on roads with different names
Always tired but working on somebody else's road
Never taking time to find a real goal of my own
Road worn and blue, and always reading someone else's news
And I'm just going where life takes me, but I wish that I had known...
Foreverago, I had the world at my feet, you at my side,
and my dreams were free... foreverago...
Ticket stubs and tokens in that box beneath my bed
Once upon a times and ever afters in my head
All gone away. Growing up and moving on got in the way
You and my dreams were there to take me. Somehow I let you go...
Foreverago, I had the world at my feet, you at my side,
and my dreams were free... foreverago...
One more bag of french fries, and another tank of gas
No more looking back to see the living that I've passed
'cause I'm going home. Going back to find the loves that were my own
I'm going back so I can take you to where we used to go...
Foreverago, I had the world at my feet, you at my side,
and my dreams were free... foreverago
