Not really, no. There was an original video that covered the cheating, but did it in a way that I felt I understood. So i covered the information he had, but that person also did not look close enough because then the second video (the one Karl used) came out with more conclusive examples of cheating. I attempted to give Syndicate the benefit of the doubt because I'm not an authority on world records. That's my fault, but the mistake has been corrected multiple times since this was published.

Round skip is possible now but round skip mods back in 2011 were mainly a WAW thing especially on console. The only thing close to it was stopping zombies from spawning and turning up the timescale but that takes half an hour to get to round 30 and you don't get any points or kills.

On mass it wasnt nearly as popular and there were far less creators. I 2011 you could barely get monetized as a gaming channel and had to get a machinima partnership. Maybe COD creators were getting more views each, but that's because there were so few of them

I think what you're misunderstanding is ANYONE is capable of cheating. If you've heard of the Minecraft speed runner Dream, he had the fastest time beating the game last year, then a few months ago, he got caught cheating, and denied it until very recently. Even the best people in the world are capable of cheating.

@@leonaustin123 yea but idk if you really looked into the mods he was using he thought they were legal by the rulebook it was more of a miscommunication for dream rather than intentional, he was playing a modded version which he thought was legal and for most of his videos he did say he plays modded versions for content creation

@@marzllc I don't even need to look at the official rules for minecraft to know that using a mod to manipulate RNG in your favor is against the rules. ex: a specific drop being 1% chance, and another specific drop being 1% chance, and you land both those drops 8 or 9x in a row, there's a very good chance there's rule-breaking mods being used. As with his channel, all his videos are based around "beating minecraft but _______ happens" which us 100% okay since they're just for fun and a new way to play. His manhunt videos are enjoyable to watch as well. But do I believe what happened was because he misinterpreted the rules? That's a solid no.
