Honestly, I'm surprised with the quality of the Plants Vs. Zombies mod. And it was all made by one person! Also, the menu, intro, and art design are direct references and homages to the original PvZ! The rest of the week's voices and sound effects come from the PvZ: Garden Warfare games as well as Peashooter's "Gatling Pea" mode in the second song. And the red line on the second song's progress bar is a neat little touch. It's a design detail inspired by the little red flags that would signal a large wave of zombies coming to attack you. (P.S. Zombie GF when the Chomper appears is cuteness incarnate.) XD

The peashooter falling to the ground, and then getting back up a tiny bit with one eye open, then falling back down was a reference to his death animation in all the garden warfare games, same with the song timer bar, and the side with the zombies has a completely purple sky.

One thing that I don't think anyone noticed is that in the second song, zombie girlfriend has the flag that summons the new wave and bobs her head in *two different motions*, as opposed to just bobbing her head. Nice touches, and it's only in alpha.
