Have you guys ever thought of getting some sort of squeegee type device to push the dirty water where you want it after a job then to fight the dirty moving water with more water? I feel like if you could push the water away then use a hose to move the water around it could save a lot of time wrapping up the jobs. Just something I thought about just now, idk what would be best for that.

I quote 0.85/sqft in Ohio but I almost always multiple discounts or referral deals happening to keep prices competitive. The short working season and necessity to quote sight unseen in a crowded market makes it difficult to make ends meet at anything less. That being said, very few people are willing to pay for a high value clean so I realistically have 1-3 jobs a week and spend the majority of my working hours marketing and selling. The way it goes with my customers is they’re willing to pay my prices because our communication is professional, thorough, and prompt and we make it easy to say “yes”. I worked in food service for years before starting my own business and to this day I am dumbfounded at how difficult it is to work out a simple timeline or price with “professional” contractors. A lot of potential customers drop my services when they get a quote but I hear ZERO complaints from those who value quality

@@christianjordan1713Just Starting up in Madison Alabama (pretty high income area i would say alot of government workers) do you think 200 minimum is too much for a 2 car driveway? Planning on doing 200 on anything under 600 sq foot

Ha, try pressure washing business in Florida.....the part time free lancers, or a college kid side hustle, will price you out so many times. You have to low ball just to get a residential job.
@andrehorton49963 ай бұрын
Price depends on the area and how Big or small the driveway is some people are on a fixed income

Wouldn’t you have started from the top? Versus the bottom and have the dirty water wash over what you just washed? Maybe im wrong but im interested!
@omarshaabna95095 ай бұрын
you are right. When doing driveway it is best to start from the top of the hill point and work your way down therefore all the dirty water can go downhill over the dirty spots before you clean it.

In Florida, lucky to get $75 for a full driveway, no matter how long it takes. $250 for a roof.

Idk about having multiple clients and servicing them on the same day but if it’s like one person for one day you should charge minimum 120-$150
