I'm glad I came across your video. My friend introduced me to MT5 and FTMO and the markets you recommended for beginners are exactly the ones I've been dabbling in. Reassuring to know I'm doing something right x

I have been trading for about 6 months now and just about every trade slaps me in my face. Nearly impossible for me to catch more than a few points . I try to do top down analysis and MTF analysis, but it doesn't work for me . I say to myself, clearly I'm in the 90% that lose money, so I open a demo account, do my analysis, then take the opposite of what I would normally take(I know, it sounds stupid but I was desperate) and get the same result. I'm starting to feel hopeless, any advice for a struggling trader?
@zulfiqar57783 жыл бұрын
@Lincoln Collison You're right, I don't lose money every single trade, but my main problem is trying to let my runners run. Very rarely do I catch big moves . Instead they go a few pips in my direction, then go against me if when I try holding them. Also my entries could use a lot of improvement. A mentor would be amazing, but getting one is easier said than done. If it's not too much to ask, do you know any?

I have been learning and watching a lot of videos lately and been studying for at least a year now on and off. One thing i have summarized is it takes more than 6 moths to be better in trading. It takes even years for the best traders to be profitable bro. Dont lose hope. Stop trading with real money. Do demo account till youre profitable

Why not just use a stop loss to mitigate the risk of the trade going against you? You do make a great point about the spreads, though.

Love your vids-- re-watched this one, as I'm getting back into the forex market after a break of a couple years, and I need to refamiliarize myself with some basics. In re: EUR/USD, isn't it also true that since it's by far one of the most liquid, highest volume pairs traded, that it tends to be one that central banks "manipulate" pretty regularly, setting up retail traders for stop-outs all the time?
