Thank for this Video, if you already have your terminals on your local PC could you just copy it and paste it in the remote PC? Or you have to download all the terminals from your broker again. I already have my bot install there in the local system.

Hey rene. Im really struggling with Strato i don't think its my EA but strato. My ea never goes up because for some reason my connection keeps dropping i tested the connection with long youtube video's 3hours and such and never seem to pass 30min watch time? Great Video We are a trading couple that just got flagged by our propfirm, from using multiple IP's, traveling a lot 😊 So now we look into VPS And need to access it easily from both our phones and PC's obviously, we have multiple accounts = 4-5 with the same broker, meaning the same mt5 installation yet 4-5 different accounts on that broker. Is there anything that you can recommend dude in this regard, since vmwe need a static IP (Im guessing the VPS has that since its on the same server always) Yet we both need to access it simultaneously, currently not running any EA's but do our tradings manually. Hi René, thank you for the clear tutorial! I would like to ask you a simple question. Do you use a German server Provider just because you prefer German stuffs or is there a particular reason for your choice? For example a smaller latency between your local pc and the VPS, or some other reasons correlated to the broker that you use. Thank you!

There is no real benefit of using a German Provider other than native language and tax reasons. You should use whatever you are most comfortable with.

Hey, the only reason for me is that Strato offers German Support which makes it comfortable for me if I need quick help ;)

If the cursor is still moving smoothly on the server and you can open the windows explorer easily you should be fine ;)

Hi Rene, I use MT5 together with TDS for my backtesting. Since I am traviling a lot in my job I think about installing both MT5 and TDS on a VPS being able to backtest from different locations. Hey - I have raw trading ltd account with ic markets and forex vps account. I keep on getting intermittent datacenter connection issues ? Do you have any idea how to fix it ? I asked to change the serve number (i.e. live25 to live33) but it has not fixed the issue. Any idea why that is ? Happens at random times during the day.

Nope never really had this issue I think. Make sure to contact the ic markets support about this. Or is it a VPS issue? In this case ask the VPS provider about it.

Could you compare your live system (ICmarkets) on same VPS with demo (ICmarkets) with same settings? Very interesting in terms of spread/slippage I've passed tested demo there and have got blessing results, got KYCed, but unfortunately i'm unavailable to deposit any money there(russia sanctioned) Thanks

Hey, I did this for a while. Results were really similar. Some trader were better on live and some on demo account.

Yeah you can install two copies. Just provide a different installation path for the second installation.

I do not recommend a specific vps. Also I am not really a Mac user so cannot say a lot about this :D sorry for not being helpful here. Just choose a vps provider that offers support in a language you speak i guess :)

Should still work. TP and SL are on the broker server anyway. So if they are set they should be executed when hit by the price.

You should consider the free vps that brokers are giving out for free. For example with ICMarkets, whenever you are trading 15 lots round turn they are more than happy giving you a free vps with their suppliers. One of them has less than 1ms of delay. I am not sure about the quality, but they are offering this with a direct acces to their trade server. So it should be faster than, for example, a Strato vps.

Yeah true the ping might be really good. But I do not think they have a lot of computing power and I need it to run multiple mt4/mt5.

You should at least run mt4 so we can see whats the actual ping of the VPS, we need to check if ping is good for IC Markets.. And you didnt show that..

Oh the ping is not that good compared to a "trading" VPS. But I believe that the ping is not even important for 99% of all trading strategies.. For me it was never important and my strategies work great with the VPS ping.
