As a 4-time finisher of the 70.3 I can't wait to sign up for the 140.6 in 2020. I have been racing the marathon, Ironman 70.3 and other races in St. George since 2009 and the town and it's people are experts at welcoming and hosting endurance events. Credit goes to the town organizers and the volunteers and the people of St. George. In all my years of racing St. George is the only place where I have heard townspeople yell out "Welcome to St. George. We are glad you are here!". I had a lady yell that out at me as I was on mile 30 of the 70.3 bike in 2018 and it made me feel so good. In other places they tolerate your presence or are actively annoyed with you. St. George loves the athletes and they love their races. Brilliant decision by Ironman to commit to a town that is committed to quality endurance events.
