Forged and Hammered Tables

Doug creates two small tables by forging the legs and hammering sheet metal to form the tops. The legs are shaped with the power hammer and shaped with the horizontal press. Doug describes and demonstrates the how the tops are raised, and then the tops and bottoms are welded to the legs. Finally, the tables are heat textured and finished with a coat of penetrating oil.
Such tables are called cigarette tables, but are perfect for holding a cell phone (or donuts).
