Yeah but he even said it’s a heavy piece. Dave made a basket hilt broadsword in two weeks, and in the same time Jay’s blade...Native Americans used to use those types of jaw bones as clubs to break skulls and other bones...it’s super tough material. They all nailed it.

Its so nice to see them show their skill. Most people forget they have extensive backgrounds and deserve to be judges. This is more proof. So I would like to set a challenge. These 3 make the same weapon to the best of their ability. 2 weeks. And send them to Doug Marcaida for testing. Then on their website, or youtube if possible, have a poll up for the fans to decide who is winner is after Doug gives us his thoughts! Please like this post for them to see it.

Umm...Ben's Blade was the most intricate, complex, and technical by a wide margin. The other two blades are great, but they dont belong in the same league as the Sutton Hoo, which requires FAR more work and much more technical forge welding. Ben and Dave did change shirts tho; ben's shirt looks similar from the beginning to end, but you can see that the words on the front are different. it just looks that way because they are all black-based shirts. I believe it could be genuine, and it could be that J was too into his work and didn't take a shower for two weeks.
