@@guitarplayer1495 something they didn’t tell you on the show is that Steven’s job at the time was being a social worker at a homeless shelter and his wife had just had their first child. I had a pretty good idea that the edge nick would sink me and I really wanted Steven to end up with the 10k. It would have been nice to be the champion but I am happy with the way things turned out.

Usually on A heavier blade or weapon they're the one's going home because Doug, David, or J. don't like heavy blades or weapons. As David Baker was doing all those tests he would always question the weight of Steven's weapon

I Freaking love this show!!! There is one thing that I would request, if anyone could do to improve the show. Give a close up of the Finished blades for a few seconds, that way we can get a better look. I find that a lot of times I have to pause the brief shots in order to get a really good look at these pieces of art! Just a humble request to the gods of the forge!

Watch the actual show. They talk to them about their builds and they tell them what they used to make it out of, handle material etc and how it went. While they do this, the camera shows their blade and handle in detail. These clips on KZbin are highly edited to get to the 10 minute mark, and all are a little different depending on what they want to show of the third round.
