I haven't seen it mentioned so let me add to this and say how impressed I an at how well these things hold a charge. Mine was just going in and out of my pocket unused for well over a month before it occurred to me to check if it was still charged. It said it was still fully charged but I plugged it in anyway and it stopped charging in less than a minute so it had hardly lost anything. It's nice to know you can mostly forget about and it will still be there for you.

Great review.! I’ve been waiting for a product like this so I can ditch the co2 and ridiculous mini pump. Thank you

I thought this was a gimmick, however after buying the as2 pro, it makes so much sense. Love it

Glad to hear you took the open mind approach. I too was very skeptical of this product; amazing they have miniaturized a compressor to this size!

Someone complained that "... cost is never an issue..." Let me try something more constructive. As part of your "No BS" review, I would have appreciated something to put the cost in perspective. For example, something like, "The cost is twice that of a good quality mini pump, but think of all the time you'll save." Overall, I really appreciate your reviews, especially the "No BS" part and the doggy cameos.

just thinking through my travel plans for heading to CO for the Rad at the end of the next month and might need to add this to the list instead of or in addition to CO2. Thanks JOM.

Thanks for the review, I already have a Fumpa Nano but it can only inflate about 1 roadtire, I'm looking at the AS2 Pro so I can leave my minipump at home (I also care a CO2 for backup).

@@GravelCyclist It is but the 1 roadtire is just not good enough as a replacement for a minipump.

@@GravelCyclist Yeah they say 3 28mm tires to 5,5 bar so it would be ideal, I only carry 2 spare tubes xD, so will probably order it even if these electricpumps are still very expensive!

Are these safe to use with TPU tubes? I've heard concerns about these battery powered type pumps running hot and compromising the valves on TPU tubes.
@GravelCyclist2 ай бұрын
I've yet to try it on a TPU tube, sorry.

safe if you use the provided 'extendo-tube' that reduces the heat at the valve by quite a bit

How many times can you go from 0-80psi before needing a recharge? (Did you say that in the video and I missed it?)

Depends on the tyre size, but about 6 refills to 30psi using the AS2 Pro for 700c x 40

I've done three 32mm road tires from 0-90psi as an experiment and still had 1 bar remaining. I've never ever had to do three full road bike inflates in over 600,000 miles of pedaln' the last 35 years for what it's worth. most was two tires a few times back in the day. at any rate I still carry a hand minipump just in case, but haven't needed it yes I ride a ton now, and used to ride a ton more...long distance roadie

Perhaps you can develop a tiny compressor, recoup your development costs along with staff salaries, rent, utilities, marketing, manufacturing, and price it accordingly. "Cost is never an issue for you". What exactly are you saying here?

Nah, a gadget too far especially when one might need to bring a pump, just in case! Get a decent pump, like the PDW Cloud Gravel and be done with it.
@michaeldevera925821 күн бұрын
The only problem with these rechargeable devices, as time goes when using it, the battery capacity quickly diminishes. My e-pump is the bigger model. When it was new , it was able to pump several times when charged at its max of 4 bars. After several months of use, the 4 bars suddenly drop to 2 bars then the pump stops working when pumping higher pressure (50 psi)
