My wife makes the most beautiful art, all by hand using colored pencils/ink/etc. Just wish we knew how to market it. I'm told the original art is the most valuable...digital recreation loses the 'human touch'. Anyway, just venting a little.

Start small by looking for local/regional arts and crafts shows where your wife can set up a booth rental. If rental costs are an issue, she might consider partnering with another artist. Another avenue is that communities often have art galleries where local artists can display their work. Yes, original art is a high-ticket item. However, if the artist is present, prints are an alternative if the originals price is out of reach for some. So do not overlook this as an opportunity. I say if the artist is present because people love to visit with the artist at these shows. Plus, your wife in this situation might pick up a custom artwork opportunity too.
