Broke it down as best I could! What step are you struggling with?

You definitely complicated the entire filmmaking process based on your sponsor. Your preproduction process as a whole was entirely complex for any beginner filmmaker.

@@soliddomainentertainment5636it just might be that you aren't as prepared or aware of everything she outlined. I am not a film maker by profession but everything she laid out was perfectly reasonable and quite concise if you ask me. If you think this was overly complex you might not have as large a grasp on what really goes into a professional film production as you might need, maybe try watching the video again and make notes, you can dig deeper into areas that give you trouble grasping. making a dig about her having a sponsor for her video, only makes me question if you are any kind of professional at all? I get your frustration, I am a busy service professional in a densely populated city with lots to juggle, so I get the stress of complexity. But it doesn't get simpler by leaving out the details, it gets simpler by outlining, addressing, reviewing all the details and establishing where they all fit in and how much priority they all take and planning execution accordingly. Her video could have been exponentially more complex if she had expanded on marketing, classical story line structures, comercial equipment and space leasing. I think what she packed into this video was packaged very well, I'm not say I dissagree with, or that your feelings aren't valid, or that you are "wrong", I just don't think it's fair for you to project emotional judgement for others work based on your subjective ability to comprehend it. ... maybe it's not that her video was too much to digest, it's more than you can chew in one bite. It sounds like you're hating the player, when it's really your frustration with the complexity of the game! Keep training!

Thank you for this video! My problem is I never a shot list whenever I shoot travel videos. Will definitely start trying to have one before going out and shooting next time.

I would love a video breaking down frames per second and what the different speeds do for hit video.

School gives you access to gear and opportunities with connections you can’t get on your own. I know this from going to school for audio engineering and working in a recording studio in L.A.

@LizziePeirce, your shirt is ripped. PS. I saw Dale burnout 360s in front of the Ed Sulivan theatre back in the day when he was Lettermen. I was on the show the day before ;) Long story.

This is *sweet*, thanks for doing this overview :) I gotta ask though: How much EQ’ing did you have to do on that DJi Mic 2 to get that natural sound of your voice? I bought it when it came out, and made a video on it the day after since it turned out using it via bluetooth to an iPhone it disables the backup recording feature (not ideal since bluetooth audio is cr*p) - also it sounds *really* muffled out of the box for me (now I probably do have a *much* more bass frequency heavy voice than you, but still …). Wearing the mic just like you do in this video, and properly connected to the receiver, my audio sounds *WAY* more like «talking into a pillow» out of the box -even after cutting certain frequencies for boxiness and doing the below 80/100 hz cut and boosting the treble there is no way I’m getting the clarity you have here - so would be interesting to hear what has been done to your audio, as well as a «untreated» sample for comparison, since, you know, audio is almost more important than video ;) Anyways, loved this overview roundup, keep it coming :)

This was a great video, with a tone of universal application and relevant consideration for almost any business when it comes to planning, preparation and execution. I have never shot any video close to the comercial or professional production quality of your work, but I do consider all of these things when I look around me and dream of the things I would film or shoot around me, if I wasn't on my way to service calls that took priority. I also recognose and appreciate the work of those who give this much consideration in their work. I have always been compelled to take images and do enjoy post processing but my work prohibits deeper exploration of this work at a comercial level for others or even myself. So I enjoy living vicariously through the creative work of others who give the kind of intense consideration to evocative details that I do, and more. I find your sensible breakdown of ellements and step by step planning and managent for projects inspiring for my own professional work even though I work as a service professional in an entirely different field. I am always making mental notes and plans that change day to day as emergencies pop up the require imediate responce or attention. I see the chaos that ensues when I don't keep and make notes and lists. I love the predictability and the inspiring reassurance and dirrection that having a plan gives especially when working with other who can keep you on course, or moored when not at sea. Just watching these videos is inspiring, it might be your pragmatic sesibilty from an informed position of experience as an accomplished professional or it could just be your increadible personal energy and the film making skills you employ that capture it in an endearing way that instills confidance and promise in the process, but enough gushing, I need to go organize my truck, now. Thanks for making these videos, I know it's your job, and I know it's a struggle to keep on top of what the algorithms want to see and share, but I appreciate that what you are sharing is real, and comes from authentic experience and understandings. To be honest you hade me at the T-Shirt 😎👍
