Couple tips for you. First get two farms going asap. You need to plant all garlic in one and 3 rows hemp 1 row flax in the other. Once the garlic farm pops out a crop you will be set for food for a good long while. The food you want to make is exclusively in the camp fire with the cauldron. Mushroom Stew - 2 mushrooms 1 sage and water. Makes 2 servings The next two recipes are meat dishes best way to stretch your food the furthest. Depending on meat it produces different serving amounts. Large Meat 4 servings Reg meat 3 servings Sm meat 2 servings Meat Stew - piece of meat, sage, water Fine meat Stew- piece of meat, mushroom, garlic, water Berry Jam - 2 berries, sage, water. The other vegetables are worthless till you can build a tavern so don't waste your time farming them till then. Press H to autorun. Also sprinting along roads greatly reduces stamina usage. One more thing once you produce a crop of garlic switch to wheat. The only way to get wheat is to steal at least 15 from the field south of Pastrow, it's guarded by bandits so be super sneaky, don't try to fight them they are decked out in tier two gear. You'll need 5 to research the thresher then use it to make grain to replant

@26:49 Yes, "Rondel" (round) DAGGER! As others below have noted, the Rondel dagger was designed to be used to attack and penetrate the space between plate armour, and into the eye slots in some helms. I kept thinking to myself, "Does he actually know what a Rondel Dagger is?" 🤔😉 Bought the game last night as a result of yours and another's (ThreatX) gameplay vids. Thoroughly enjoying it, so far. A bit "clunky" at times, but refreshingly different. Particularly, I'm grateful that the grinding can be handled by the NPCs, who can also be called upon when you need a bit o' muscle. Very much gives a sense of having a camp and even a tribe/clan. Looking forward to see what the Devs. have in store.

A rondel is a dager not a sword. It is used for going in betwen armor gaps and in like the groin or eye slits.

One thing to chexk out is, the first weapon you made is a dagger so it has high piercing as well as slashing. Meanwhile the sword has better slashing and very low piercing, hence the 5 pierce damange on the bandits with armor on. (I believe the sword pierce damage was 8) So keep slashing with swords! ⚔️

A rondelle is often used in conjunction with a longer blade, and tucked behind a buckler (small shield). Be cool if the game actually allows multiple blades to be equipped.

Tip! , to can have your infinite good buff, use first mushroom than meat fish and dear meat, so you will replace just moshroom and the rest will stay full in your bar.

Try putting the tools needed directly into your villagers inventories, I think that’s how they will get the wood and other things🤓

23:30 My main thing I would love them to change is a % change (or a slider we can change) that gives a chance for the AI to drop a portion of their equipped gear. It's slowly driving me nuts fighting a bandit in chain mail with a giant Battle axe to just get 8 gold. Hopefully they give us an option soon

Love the game. Very Challenging. Wish winter was longer. Sometimes my men don't have enough to do and im on my second Raid. Also learning the Bow/stamina is challenging. Im on my second raid. first Raid took me 3 times to win. btw I gave one of my men a bow and arrows and logged of. he doesn't carry it and ran away in a fight. lesson learned

You need to give your NPC's a quiver and some arrows before they can use a bow. They don't have infinite ammo either, so you have to keep a good supply of arrows in your chests.

@@brettwilson7680 manor lords is a medieval city builder with some combats where you can watch/zoom in and see everyone while working/building your settlement while Bellwright is a medieval survival RPG third person game where you also build your settlement but since you can have and control your own character for me it's more immersive and I'm liking how you can recruit people with different skill set.

They need to fix the smelting/crafting bugs and increase the bandit attack limit, 30 in a raid is way too small vs 200 villagers. after liberating all the places and getting that nice sword that drops from the castle knight about 5 times, I have run out of content, I hope this keeps getting better. Its cool just watching the AI go about their day.

One thing i have never understood why its not in this type of games is weapons with random stats like in ARPG's such as POE / Diablo. That would be awesome. Like swords with + to stats, special effects etc with rarities.

Almost wanted to get this game until I saw how slow the character is. Can’t get over a rock. Can’t run away from enemies and the starting weapons is a club, pitchfork and a that’s not a knoife. If they fix the mobility at least I might eventually get it.

This game is addictive and shows great promise. It's in EA. I'm hopeful for a number of improvements and QOL tweaks. However, I've heard that the devs are a Chinese firm. IDK if that's true. However, the reason I mention this is as follows.... For weeks I played this game with no AV detections or problems. I never shut off my pc security features to play any game or use any app. Last week my AV started detected an IDP detection. Now, I have to create an exception to allow this game to run. My suspicious nature worries that the games EXE will inject something on my pc. Anyone else have this issue after playing a while?

That would be really unbalanced and make the progression meaningless. The progression in this game is really slow, but it's also fantastic. Every upgrade is exciting and feels like it has purpose. You aren't supposed to just loot a better item, as it gets rid of all the excitement in progression.
