Actually it only takes some butter to repel French pirates, as Michiel de Ruyter once did when he was still a captain of a trading vessel. He was met a pirate vessel from Dunkirk, realizing he could not outrun her he had the deck of his own vessel "lubricated" with butter and had his own crew take off their shoes. On their socks they could walk on the slippery deck, while the pirates could not do so on their shoes. So the boarding action was repelled. How did you make your whale bases? They look great.

great story on de Ruyter- currently reading a boigraphy of the man - a real giant personality. Whales are scrathc built from milliput - glad you like them.

I have read several books about him or about particular battles (like Schooneveld), but those were all in Dutch, so I presume the titles won't be of interest of you. (I am Dutch.) By the way, in another video, you show and talk about 1/1200 Ark Royal miniatures. Where are they sold? I can not find them anywhere using google. Nor have I seen them on your website.
