do you still have your power hammer ? Don't mark over the egde of the anvil cold steel. One day you will blunt them or do a hugde chip. Btw.Nice axe. One more thing.....i can see anvil in the back what brand it is ? How much it weight and why you are not forging on it ?
@rovtarforge40047 жыл бұрын
yes, I do still have the powerhammer, I will do more videos with it in the future. Don't worry about the edges, they are welded on with hard facing rods, they do wear with time but it is a really convenient way to mark material and I can always repair them. the anvil in the back is one I made myself and I only use it for finer stuff and more accurate work since it has the flatter face. thank you for commenting

What makes it a viking axe exactly? If you're not sea raiding with it then it's not viking.

Good video and axe! Just as a little constructive criticism try to use better lighting in your clips!
@18IMAMGODINA6 жыл бұрын
I would dare to say that it is hard for him to keep the lighting correct because when you have bright things going on , the camera lowers the exposure and automatically gets darker , sort of like when you look at something bright and close your eye lids so that you can see , not to mention that camera cannot show how hot the steel actually is because it always seems colder then it actually is , for example when in reality you heat something to yellow hot , it will show like it is red hot
