Thanks Tom! Takes me back to the bushcraft show! If you are after any other suggestions, I would love to see the process of making a chef's knife. I was going to book an experience day with you last year to make one but that will have to wait until we can actually see people!

Hi Again mate , Hope you are both still good ! One question , I noticed that the ring is tapperd and not as thick as the handle. Were they all like this or have any been found / documented without the tapper ?

There is quite a bit of variety amongst them, some seem tapered while others are the same thickness. Some are punched and there are others which are forged and then welded back up! I'll find you the database that has the vast majority of them on record.
