the work is very clean, direct, nothing unnecessary, great very well designed dies and tools, if a surgeon would forge it would probably look exactly like this. Great work, thank you very much
@randomsandwichian4 жыл бұрын
My thoughts exactly, those dies look so immaculate and practical, could do just about anything with just a few switches. Nicely shot too, imo.

Very nice! It would be really cool to get a little tour of your workshop to see what tools you use for different things, power hammers, presses, etc.... Given how immaculate your shop is, I think that'd be a popular video!

Always astonishing to see your amazing tooling. I also really liked the aesthetic simplicity of this particular item so I went out to my home forge to see how close I could come without a power hammer or any specialized tooling. It was a fun project and i was fairly happy with my results. I had to do makeshift bottom swage by slightly flaring a piece of water pipe and used a ball peen with it to make the bowl.

I was waiting for the power hammer tooling on the bowl of the spoon. I wasn't disappointed. Very clever, I think most would have just welded a handle on the bearing, buy your arrangement seems to allow more room to move the spoon under the bearing and lets you direct the force where you want it.
