Just wondering what forging copper is like. Does it work harden and get brittle? Any challenges you have to pay attention to? Beautiful work!

how do you stop the inevitable corrosion between the steel and copper joint ?

Great job it would have been nice to leave some hammer marks in the top face of the copper and add a small scroll to the end of the hook just suggestions for another project this one is perfect 👌 really great work

Hello Paul. The spatula came out rather fantastically, I do love the steel/copper combination. 1 question though - could you shed some light on the shape of your hammer, please? I can't seem to make up a use case for such a complicated shape.

just a heads up in case you were not aware, dont white knuckle the hammer grip if you are, use your, whole arm to swing no just from the elbow as that can wear out your joints faster, and hopefully your using a soft face hammer to strike hardened tools when cold working material, otherwise it can chip off, as roy pointed out on video at christ centered once, you seem to be pretty good at this for being only 18 or 19 so just dont want to you hurt yourself, or wear your body out prematurely, the shop life can be a tough way of life. I am not even 40 and been around woodworking since age 6 all that sawing and pounding being around my dad I think damaged my hearing thats why I cant hear what is being said as well as could be.
