Mat I made one, just with close to a 4 inch bade, I'm going to put paracord around the handle and going to take it with me trout fishing with Dad who just turned 80 this year who is my fishing buddy.

Thanks, it was quite the opposite, here is an excerpt taken from the history of the encounter between Harry Wolhunter and the lions. The name Harry Wolhuter is somewhat of a legend in South African conservation circles. As the first game ranger in the Kruger National Park under James Stebeson-Hamilton, he was lucky enough to survive an attack from two fully grown male lions while on horseback in the early days of the Park.
