It's the baroque bow hold, in this way the bow is even more light and it's easier to play fast passages in the typical "baroque bouncy" way

it's the baroque bow hold, you usually tend to hold the bow a little higher to make it more bouncy in a baroque way :)

Only the bow, I don't have a true baroque violin (not yet!), so I'm basically using the baroque bow with any of my modern violins

It's the baroque bow hold, it's different than the modern bow hold, even if I haven't done any specific baroque masterclass or similar... so in the baroque part, yes, I am self-taught 😄

That day my promising violin career virtually ended. Over the years I learned to greatly appreciate players like yourself. I do hope you post more of your progress. We all appreciate it.

I'm so sorry to read that, the career of a musician can be so beautiful and fragile at the same time when bad injuries happened. I hope you didn't get completely discouraged to play the violin, even after nasty injuries people are still able to recover and play really well.
