I just had an experience with a good friend of mine. He has done me wrong multiple times, and I kept forgiving him. The thing is, now I think he is just abusing that kindness in my heart, and I feel like I need to cut them off, as you said. But in the end, it is life. Rather, I accept or not, I will find better people for sure. Thank you for working on these videos it really helped me mentally. Keep it up

Every time someone says her name it hurts because I considered her a very close friend and I'm trying my best to move on. I know exactly what u mean and this is what I tell myself when someone hurts me and I try to explain this to other people and my friends specially the thing is if u dont forgive someone and u hold a grudge against someone in the end its only going to destroy you because it does not matter to the other person and they just dont care so really its better to just forgive and move on rather then destroy yourself by holding a grudge and beign resentful

(i commented my first comment during the intro) i'm adding this cuz when you mentioned the dad part i really relate to it (im 16) cuz lately we had an arguement wich is fine, yk? I mean it happens. The thing that's bothering me the most is that in the past years i feel like he hasn't been as present in the past like 2-3 years. He isn't a bad person or bad dad, he hasn't done anything wrong it's what he isn't doing that hurts. It's really hard to not just forgive him but to "move on" from it if that makes sense. I just wish he was more "interested" or "present" in my life (yes he does live with our familly and were completely fine). He's a good dad and i know he cares for us (family) i want this to be really clear cuz he's rlly not a bad person. The thing that hurts me the most is that he watches these motivational videos talking about "happiness" and how to be happy (not all the time obvs rlly rare but still) wich makes me wonder if he's lacking something and idk what his definition of happiness is and i don't even think "happiness" even exists. I think true joy and happiness comes with hard work at purpose and simply being capable to look back at what you've accomplished and finding your true purpose is TRUE happiness and the fact that he doesn't realize that makes me kind of sad. (again, this isn't something that HURTS to the point where im depressed or something) just clarifying cuz i don't want it to sound like that cuz i know this does sound pretty depressing. soz for paragraph again.

I think the best thing you can do is take responsibility for your part of the relationship and try to open that line of communication with him, it's not always easy but it's worth trying
