Her entire role reminds me of when I had to hide my sexuality from my homophobic father for years and pretending to be heterosexual. The pain from the solitude and loneliness I felt always gets brought up and brings me to tears when I watch this quest, furina’s story is so relatable to me it’s made her my comfort character.

This is peak Genshin. The Fontaine Archon quest has so much rewatch value if you were to go through everything again, specifically from Furina's perspective like for example her being excited and attending any Trials that come to pass. Also remember the voice you heard in the fountain? ("So interminable.. so lonely... just how much longer...) Genshin teased that before Act 3 and we didnt know the context until now

@@OrangeBanana836 another fun fact about Fueina VA Amber Lee Connirs: Ahe is literally Furina IRL. She cares ao much about her fellow VAs same with Wriothesley IRL (joe zieja). Furina has her own studio (Sound Cadence Studios) and genshin VAs exploited by Formosa are being moved there. Paimon (Corina) has been there since her pay issue hence she was still actively voicing even amidsr the strike.

When we assume that every scene takes one day, then scene 182375 translates to over 499 years after Furina started her performance. 😢 Which means she probably remembers every single detail of every day, and maybe the Traveler saw every scene too.

With the completion of the Archon Quest, I believe you can listen to the voice lines the others Archons have about Furina. I personally really liked those.

Definitely my favorite quest in Genshin period (altough there are some other very good ones of course). Crying every time when it comes to the dance scene. Really great that you got to this point and seeing it here again. As someone else said, i would also recommend Arlecchinos story quest before Natlan. And perhaps afterwards you might even want to watch "The song burning in the embers" which is a special animated "short film", around 7 minutes long, revolving around what happens in that quest - it's really well done.

What an absolutely breathtaking conclusion to Fontaine's story arc! The writing in Act 5 is nothing short of masterful, weaving themes of justice, identity, and redemption into a narrative that feels both grand and intimate. Furina's character shines brilliantly, her will as a human is unparalleled, and this is why everyone in the Genshin community adores her so much. We all felt that need of hugging her at the end, of making sure that she's alright. This is also why many of us were so excited to play her Story Quest, not even to hear about a story, but simply see her again safe and happy. I shall thank you for yet another great video, for it is thanks to you that we also get to experience these quests again. Looking forward to the next steps in the story, including the Nation of Fire, Dragons, and War. The victors shall burn bright, while the losers must turn to ash! 🔥

Everyone talks about how difficult Furina's life was - and it definitely was, for sure. But I rarely see anyone mention how tragic Focalors' life was. She was made specifically to replace Egeria, and almost the moment she was born she put her plan into effect. She never even had a chance at a real life among her people, she gave that to Furina and she spent five hundred years completely alone, doing nothing but gathering the strength she needed to end her own life. I can't imagine an existence more lonely and unfulfilling. Such good storytelling and character writing is rare, and I love this quest arc for it.

Best quest ever! Love to rewatch it. Also a bit of advise, whenever you finish a scene with dialogues (like the one of Charlotte in the fortress before they sent you to the docs) or a cutscene and the characters linger there near you, talk to them, they say very interesting things after the events take place. 🙂

Such a good finale. This definitely made me tear up when I first played it. I'm on board with the others saying that you should do Furina and Neuvilette's story quests before you move on to the next region. Seeing how you were very invested in Furina's story. You should definitely do it next!

Great video! 🙂 In regard of which quest to do before Natlan, Neuvilette story quest aside, are even more important on a game story level those of Furina and Arlecchino; they feel more like a followup to the main archon quest than just individual chapters. Strongly raccomended is also the Clorinde story quest, which is one of the most engaging and funny to play in the all game. Enjoy! 😊

Neuvillette story quest is a good choice the quest is short and there is no fighting scene if i remember it is good for cozy recording day, and furina's is absolute cinema you'll enjoy it, also you mention childe well he's in arlecchino story quest just for a brief moment P.s if you are planning to do arlecchino story quest pls react to genshin impact short animation called "The Song Burning In The Embers" afterwards

Yes this is the moment, the part where before this quest we all hated that brat furina, but after this part we all absolutely loved her and just wanted to give her hugs, she did her best. 500 years of suffering and putting an act on just to save the people of fontaine.. peak archon quest.

I personally never hated Furina. From the moment we met her at the docks, I was really concerned about her. The way she responded to people's comments made me feel like she was trying to please them, or was forced to agree with them. I am not sure how else to put this into words. At that point I was thinking that she can loose her power as archon if people stop believing in justice and she won't be able to protect them from whatever was coming. I was still quite far from the truth, but I felt sad and wanted to hug her during the whole Archon Quest. I just wasn't sure why.

Just a tip: after cutscenes u will see the playable characters facing each other on the background, u might wanna talk to then. They dont say anything important to the story itself, but some of the dialogs are realy funny. That said! Fontaine main story is my favorite, and I believe u enjoy the fact that u have Furina even more now. 😢😂
