+David Štular Confirming that the Volume Up/Down button needs to be pressed. It is NOT just Volume Down. It is the CENTER of the Up/Down (Large) button. Then release the Power button to proceed.

+Franko Berk does your Volume +/- button work? Mechanically I mean. Are you able to adjust the volume when the ZenPad 10 is on? Are you releasing the Power button as soon as the first ASUS logo appears? (Sorry if this is redundant, I'm just going through the possible steps that may have been missed).

Had the same problem now when I try everything is fine. Mine was glitching when I pressed volume up or down the "error" moved on my screen that was completely black.
